Professor Calderone and her staff are amazing and have extensive experience. They genuinely care to teach and only teach if the child is interested and ready. "We met with professor Calderone yesterday and she is simply amazing. Her educational approach is clear and thorough, she was asking my daughter the right questions ensuring the instrument she chose to learn is truly what she wants to do and introduced her to the other instruments. The methods she used during the assessment were truly impressive, taking the time to know my daughter and explaining to her how classes work and homework and practice expectation in details. Our elder daughter has been taking violin lesson at the school for the past 3-4 year now, and soon our younger daughter will start her journey of music there. Professor Calderone treats this school not as a business but foremost as a mission. At the school's new Springfield office, a wall is decorated with plates of honor dating all the way back to the 80s. To me, those are not just names of some individuals, they represent the joint efforts from generations of musicians, students and teachers, and most of all, professor Calderone herself. I wish every parents who want to explore music for their kids have a chance to talk to the professor and try it out by themselves."

"Professor Calderone is an outstanding director of the School of Music; the way she assessed my 8 year old daughter to start enrollment for violin lessons with Dr. Copeland was such a wonderful and inviting experience! Her approach to education was thorough and clear, as she ensured that my daughter understood her instructions, took an empathetic approach based on how she responded, and was light and fun with the whole experience. She had suggested that we are to be enrolled with Dr. Copeland based on our availability, and he has been an incredible instructor! He has accommodated my daughter based on her preference of having me in the room or not, and has been very inviting as well! He is gentle and kind with his approach, tailoring his instruction to how she has been progressing, whether it be through his instructions and homework assignments, or how my daughter naturally picks up on certain skills.
