JP Management Apartments

"’m NOT talking about my landlord lord but JP Management itself. After JP Management took over the apartment complex I’ve been living in, they made some unsafe changes to the exterior. They took away the hand railings outside the main door without replacing all of them. That is a safety issue for elderly tenants. They also took away the Entance and Exit signs that have been there for years which can cause an accident for those new to the place. They also took away the over head awning above the entrance doors that help protect the front porch from the snow and rain. They also replaced the front doors without the auto locking mechanism like the previous doors which is unsafe if someone happens to forget to lock the main door. The yearly increase in rent is also unreasonable without any improvements being done to the place that benefits the tenants. For a building that’s over 40 years old the place is overpriced. You can tell from most of the negative reviews that this company doesn’t care about their tenants."

"Ettrick Terrace has been a great home for me the last year. The super is fantastic, the location is great, and the people in the buildings are so friendly and nice. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and Yanira the property manager. She is dedicated and efficient in solving any problems and also very kind. I am extremely pleased."

"This is the worst place to live. Lived here for almost 2 years. Heaters stopped working. Weather was 32° Fahrenheit and we didn’t have heat for 3 days. Can you imagine it? Its a regular occurrence here. Another day we didn’t have water for 3 days. Because every mechanical & electrical parts of this building is out of date. Just stay away from here!"

"I give 1 star because the lowest is 1 star. The management company of this apartment doesn't care about tenants' properties or safety. All they care is getting $2,000 rents every month regardless of how difficulties their tenants are experiencing in their apartment. The super is worse, you can never see him work or maintain in the building, and he shows up really slow when we call him for help. There's no security of this building, the front door's electronic lock is easy to unlock. No camaras are installed at Mailbox area or parking area. There are several tenants reporting to company that they have property loss or damage of their mails or cars, but the management company can't help anything. How do we know this? Because the tenants were so desperate that they had to knock each door to ask. DON'T LIVE IN THIS PLACE. The rent is increasing every year, the management company only cares about money and you can never get any help from the company or super."
