"Rented for 2 years then relocated to richmond, VA. Adriano the best super i have had from my 5 years in NY. Arye from central management is also very responsive and emails back within 24 hrs without fail. Keyfood grocery closeby with huge parking lot. BX bus stands closeby and number 1 subway station closeby"
"Poorly constructed and woefully mismanaged. Violates NY Fire Code and NY crime and safety provisions, and management continually ignores the pleas of tenants to fix issues – management requires issues to be submitted through an online portal but won’t give most tenants access to the portal, but even issues in the portal don't get fixed. Owner/management/agents violate tenant’s rights, including accessing without permission or even notice; and lie or get aggressive when called out on things. Bathrooms smell of sewage; common areas smell of marijuana and rotting fish and have no a/c. A/c and heating vents don’t have filters so the dust is chronic; building is infested with insects –despite exterminators onsite bi-weekly; windows leak when it rains and are not sealed or insulated, and rattle when planes/helicopters fly over; plumbing leaks through floors, and the leaks go unaddressed. Hot water is random, can take 10 minutes just to get warm or can be instantly scalding even when turned to cold. Not all electrical outlets work and the wiring for the LED strip lights overheats. Lock is repeatedly taken off the front door, completely compromising security and there’s no virtual doorman. Construction workers from corner use building as a portapotty and breakroom. Railings on the roof are highly unstable, and if renting top floor apartments, you will not have a private roof terrace despite paying for it . Door to the parking not regulation size. Garbage continuously strewn outside front door along with dog feces and attracts rats, racoons and skunks. Outside lights do not work at night. Open just over a year and already on 4th super. Noise from the construction site on the corner regularly starts before the legally permitted time and continues after it. Most expensive building in Riverdale and worst quality and management. There is a reason both one year tenants are leaving, and some two years won’t be far behind. Owner is known as a slum lord in Brooklyn, and now is a slum lord in Riverdale. Could go on but text box has limits."
