Reviews of MRK
"Very disappointed with the services, my packages kept getting lost and I kept receiving incorrect packages. I once incorrectly received a package full of weed which is very dangerous for my small dog as he could have consumed it since it was in a paper envelope. The hallways on my floor sometimes smelled like weed so to incorrectly bring it into my house really upset me which lead me to leave. The neighborhood is not very safe, I was approached by a man on the block one night who was very dangerous making me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. The heating / cooling system doesn’t work well, it’s always too hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Their is a lot of noise in the area during the day such as construction so it’s hard to work from home or sleep in. I had neighbors throw loud parties atleast twice that continued throughout the night with people drinking in the hallways. I asked for help removing some TVs from the wall when I moved out but I was ignored which I found rude. When I moved in I asked to live on the top floor since I was one of the first residents but I was lied to and told those apartments were not available only to find out from the neighbors that they indeed where leased out later, I found this very unfair. The only positive thing about the apartment is the large windows with views of NYC and the rooftop but they recently built a new building that blocks half the view. They have a really nice indoor rooftop as well that is great for entertainment with friends. The gym has a peloton which I really enjoyed. The building is really clean but the surrounding areas on the block are not. (Good building but not so good area) The pricing is getting so high that it’s around the same as Newport, Grove and exchange place which are way better areas in jersey city. The management team helped me have an easy move out the building and I received my security deposit back very fast which was nice and appreciated."
"From submitting the application to move-in the cmpnd and MRK team have helped to make it a great experience. They were speedy with any inquiries and follow-ups we had, and were accommodating to our move-in timeline. Our move altogether was very smooth since the front desk has multiple trolleys for us to use, and the elevators were big enough to even fit our couch! We've been enjoying the amenities (gym, yoga room, and rooftop) which are usually never crowded. The apartment itself has great appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher) and the floor to ceiling windows are a big plus! But what drew us in was how close the proximity the building was to the PATH station. The amenities, quality of the in-unit appliances, and convenience makes MRK an overall great choice to live in."
"Feeling at home in a multi-family building can sometimes be difficult but, our family feels very much at home at MRK. The entire staff is professional, responsive and helpful at every turn. Even though we are (a little) older than most residents everyone is friendly and welcoming. The maintenance staff in particular are very diligent and happy to help repair things. For us, it has been a very good experience at MRK. We can sometimes hear dogs barking but all in all we find it very quiet here, especially relative to our last place where we were on a busy road downtown. The finishes in the apartment are well composed and durable. Thumbs up."
"MRK has been great all the way from leasing, move-in to living here. They had a great promotion with one month free rent and provided movers for our move. The building is brand new and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had an incident due to our error which caused damage and the staff was co-operative to resolve the issue. The amenities are top notch with multiple lounges, work areas and a well equipped gym. During the summers they organize roof-top events with happy hour and live music with great views of the city. There is a coffee shop (Clo Coffee) on the first floor. Overall, the best to live in the Journal Square area, steps away from the PATH. I'd highly recommend MRK to anyone looking to move to this area."
"My husband and I recently moved into these apartments and let me just say AMAZING!!! Everything from the views to the atmosphere has us feeling like we are in a air bnb! We originally had another place in mind but as soon as we saw these apartments it was a no brainer. Christina was so helpful, so responsive and literally made this process a breeze. She did that! The building, the apartment, the amenities are worth every penny!!! Everyone thus far has been exceptionally accommodating and as a plus the building is PET friendly ( a major plus) We were concerned because there is no parking for residents but we have been finding street parking with no issues so far. We are very picky when it comes to living spaces but MRK really set the bar. Close to everything PATH, Post Office, 4 mins away from the Holland Tunnel so we get to work with no hassle. I love it here!!"
