The Amberly Apartments 120 Nassau Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201

"I had a pretty bad experience. The Livetak team Real Estate Salesperson mistakenly showed us an apartment that was already rented out at The Amberley Apartments, Brooklyn. I even emailed this person to confirm before applying for it. After I spent a several hours collecting all the documents for the application and applying. The person said it was unavailable and stopped responding to any further emails. Did not answer any questions, did not reach out to refund my application fee either. Even if this person made a mistake, no apologies and ghosting clients are very unprofessional behaviors for anyone working in sales."

"I used to love lving here. The staff is pretty amazing and the management company representatives are nice guys even if the materials in the apartment interiors leaves something to be desired: the floors are some kind of wood veneer that shows wear and tear very easily, the cabinets are also fake wood and are already faded, and my walls were never painted (even though it was promised before I moved in) so they are just primed and it means they pick up dirt really easily. They offered to paint them after 2 years and even to replace the floors (because the material is so bad) but I have to move everything out of my apartment which is an untenable solution. Now some developer built this new hideous building next door and it's almost as if they designed it as a middle finger to the Amberly. Not only did the builder completely obscure the eastern view from the first 14 floors of the Amberly, but they also built out to the very front of the lot on Concord Street and left the middle of their building like a gigantic hole so I now have 8 sets of windows looking into my livingroom where privacy has gone down by 90 percent. The shades here are the thinnest quality and now everyone on this side of the building is basically living in a fishbowl. It would have been nice to know there were lot line windows when I made the decision to recind another lease to move here."

"My husband and I absolutely love living here at The Amberly! We have lived here for 3 years and just renewed our lease. The concierge and maintenance staff are all so amazing! Our experience with the current management team has also been great. I'm not sure why there are previous reviews that are negative about the construction going on when The Amberly has no control over new buildings being built in the neighborhood."

"Really nice building expect the construction happening currently 6 days a week starting as early as 7am, other than that from doorman to management very responsive and helpful. Recommend this building which is right across from Manhattan perfect location."

"It used to be a great place to live, but there is so much construction happening around the building now. There are currently three construction projects in progress. At 7 AM you will hear loud trilling living here. Management does not do much to make the problem better for residents."
