Riverview Gardens

"This is a nice and quiet community with small appliances included (washing machine, dryer, dish washer). There are many public transportation options from the community. There are five NJ transit buses (40,76,30) every hour from the garden terrace bus stop, and a Decamp bus option that can take you to Port Authority bus terminal in less than an hour. You can also access Kingsland NJ transit stop and Harrison path station easily from the community. The downside is that the apartments are small compared to others, and you can’t pay rent online. But if you don’t have a car and don’t want to live at journal Square, Garden Terrace is a good option for you. Current house deposit is $1000 If you clear background checks."

"I have been a resident here for about two years. Leasing office and maintenance staff are wonderful. Apartments are located in a great area. The grounds are kept very clean. Update: Have been here for 3 years and could not be happier with maintenance, leasing office, landscaping, price, neighbors, etc."

"I rented the apartment because it has washer dryer, but I’m not using those machines. The washer makes terrible smell and when I complained on the first week , they told me I can go and leave the apartment. They could at least just change the washer with another old but without smell, but they don’t even listen to me. They entered to my apartment without permission, I had to install a camera in my unit. There are jumping spiders inside the apartment as soon as it got warm and humid. The carpets are old and smell terrible. When someone upstairs is walking, the noise wakes you up. You can hear your neighbors laughing. It is not worth the rent I’m paying."

"my wife and I lived here for several years until we bought a beautiful house. Honestly these are very solid apartments with washer and dryer. They respond to maintenance very quickly. The people in the leasing office are nice as well. I never had an issue with parking either and i'm a stickler for parking but i do enjoy having a driveway now :)"

"This review is solely on our first impression of Riverview Gardens. We've been to several apartment complexes and Riverview set the best impression out of all of them. Jackie (the leasing agent) goes above and beyond to accommodate us with any questions/concerns we may have. She's such a sweet and caring person. We love how genuine and honest she is. She really makes us feel welcomed. We can really say that Jackie is one of the main reasons we've decided to submit an application for this property. Not only is the price right for what you get, but the friendliness of the staff also made us want to return. Jackie also made the application and lease signing process go smoothly, which we appreciate. We're looking forward to call this property our new home for next year and possibly longer."
