The Upton 1 Fineran Way, Millburn, NJ 07078

"We have lived at the Upton for 7 months, and we are loving the experience. The building is amazing. We have not experienced any of the sound issues that other reviewers have mentioned. We do not hear anything from our neighbors on either side, and sometimes hear walking above, but it has not been terrible. I see that as part of apartment living. The facilities and amenities are fantastic. The concierge staff is wonderful. The maintenance team is responsive and friendly. We have met many lovely people living in the building. The Upton is really a very nice place to live, on many levels. The only downside has been with the leasing office. There is one person (Erga) who works there who is friendly, professional, and quick to respond to emails. Thank you Erga! There is another person who works there who is not. In a beautiful building like this one, with the (really) high rent that we pay, and the high level of service from (almost) the entire staff, this one employee is not up to standard in the way they interact with the building residents. Phone messages are not returned. Emails are never responded to. There are things that come up that have important time restrictions, and the lack of response can be aggravating. Veris Residential should seriously consider a fresh start for this employee at another location, and possibly some retraining, because their relationship with the community is not a positive one. Everything about the Upton has been a 5 star experience, except for this one factor."

"This building stands apart from any other development we saw in the area. The amenities are comprehensive, with excellent upkeep and a very professional staff. The apartments' materials, layout, appliances... are very well done. The broker we worked with was excellent – knowledgeable, professional, friendly, very helpful (particular with follow-up details upon signing of the lease). Only constructive feedback – hopefully, the developer will build out something in the front parking area to make it more residential. Just a small detail for an otherwise amazing building!"

The Upton is a very calm and relaxed place to live in and feels like home every time you walk in. The management is 10/10! Ashley and Leticia are extremely helpful and they respond fast to any concerns/questions and are always there to help. The Upton also has a 24/7 concierge (10/10), who keeps The Upton safe and helps with any concerns/questions."
