"Bright harbor cares very much about their patients!"
"I had virtual therapy, and I did like my therapist, but there was times I thought I was in a movie. I heard lawn mowers during one session, because she was at home at this time doing counseling, and her gardeners were cutting the lawn. It seems she was distracted more times than listening to me. Then she sent me a text message to cancel our upcoming appointment because she was leaving the practice. There should have been a replacement before she left, but as I was told, they were trying a to find someone for me, and that was a month ago. I am currently looking for an another therapist."
"I got to this place by coincidence but I found out that is one of the most caring mental health facilities I have visited in my entire life with a very friendly staff. They are listening to your issues, they are spending lots of time with their patients. For your convenience, the case worker comes to your residence if you choose to instead of asking you to come to the office. They give me free sample medications which are very expensive to make sure that it works before being prescribed. I would recommend this facility to anybody because they are great."
"The dude who did my substance abuse evaluation is some retired lame who shouldn't work there. He was more concerned with getting me water to drink when I went in for a urine than how I actually was. He taunted me and accepted no accountability of his actions whatsoever. He didn't listen and replied "I'm a man, I can't do two things at a time" after telling me "I'm here for you" but couldn't listen to me without typing after telling me he can't do two things at once. The therapist Stephanie did absolutely nothing to address her coworker and dusted it under the rug very passively. I asked her questions in text to which I never got a response, let alone an attempt to answer anything. The place is a joke, aside from the front desk and the nurse who takes the urine, they all wear masks in the guise of helping others but truly lack awareness and in the end are only there for a paycheck and nothing more."
"I was a therapy patient at OMH..now known as Bright Harbor. My therapist, C, began cancelling and rescheduling my appts...in many cases less than an hour prior. Out of frustration I decided I needed a short break from therapy, to which C agreed as it was my decision. What C failed to tell me was that she saw this as an opportunity to stop treating me. Shortly after, I was notified by a text from her that she was no longer my therapist. If i would have known, i probably wouldnt have taken a break. I cant go through all of this again...5 years of therapy and now start again?...not likely. Actually I thought that i would receive some kind of support in securing another therapist...no such luck...not even a suggestion. Based on my experience..Avoid This Provider. Oh by the way Bright Harbor...have you managed to figure out where my genetic information is?"
