"I've been a resident of Beachwood since 2007, the year my youngest was born. Both of my kids, my son and my daughter, were successful students at Beachwood Nursery School. BNS introduced my kids to school in the most positive way and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! My son started there in the summer camp program - just a short time each day and he always looked forward to going. He and his sister participated in the 1/2 day preschool program during the school year. In their classrooms, the caring and capable teachers foster a positive classroom environment. They are fun and enthusiastic and have such a LOVE for the children. It was such an honor to have these women care for my kids when they were at Beachwood Nursery School. In preschool, both kids made friends, listened to their teachers, played games, learned songs and made crafts and art projects. The school encourages parent participation by having special events like mother's day tea, Halloween and Easter parades, art shows, family picnics and class trips to the farm and zoo each year. Parents are also welcome to come in and read stories to the children, which I loved to do. The Holiday sing along event was always fun and the graduation ceremonies are so memorable! BNS has expanded their facilities over the years to include 2, very secure and well maintained school buildings and a fully fenced play yard for students to enjoy. Go and visit them.
