"These guys are super nice! Took my son's bike in on a rainy Saturday with the instructions "he said it feels weird to ride". Ummm. They offered to look at it immediately just to see what was going on, did a quick once over, and made some slight adjustments. Whatever they did made a huge difference and my son was thrilled to get back on the roads in Avalon. I was hoping to keep the cost to less than $100 but they actually didn't charge me at all since it only took them a few minutes. Wow! I will definitely return the next time we have any bike issues. :)"
"I’ve been dealing with Hollywood Bikes for years. I purchased four bikes from them about 10 yrs ago. The bikes are still running great. I use Hollywood for service as well. It’s a family run business. The owner is always friendly and helpful. The service is expeditious and priced very competitively. One of the really nice services Hollywood provides is a “free air hose” on the sidewalk in front of the store. You can swing on by on your ride and top off your tire pressure. I give Hollywood a “thumbs up.”"
"I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. I rented a bike two years ago. It had a puncture about 15 miles from Avalon. I had to walk about 6 miles before finding a shop that could repair it. It was okay, but the sun was intense and I was burned. But had I not found the shop…. I rented again this year and so asked about what I should do if I get another puncture. I was told ‘we are not responsible’ ie you are on your own. I asked if I could have a bicycle pump, but was told no. The bikes could easily come with an emergency kit: a pump, puncture repair kit and spare inner tube."
