"I have been a patient since 12 years old. I am now 37. I have been there longer than my pcp whom I trusted with my life. Affiliation with Atlantic Care destroyed the quality of care. I was told I was perfectly healthy. One day, I am given multiple diagnoses off of labs from the past two years that weren't previously reviewed. Lung disease is serious, kidney stones, and thickening of the bladder is something that I think should not be the no news is good news. This is not good news. I was told by a nurse that hyper inflation of the lungs means that I am getting more oxygen. Umm, no I have lung disease. I have been terrified of any dr since. I love my Dr, don't want him to get into trouble, but can't speak to him outside of an appointment. I now question if I ever received quality care. This experience has really traumatized me. I am like dying when I was told for years that I was healthy. What am I supposed to do with that?"

"I had no issues with the care my son received here; however BE AWARE THAT ATLANTICARE DOES NOT BILL YOUR INSURANCE AS AN URGENT CARE. THEY BILL UNDER A PHYSICIANS GROUP WHICH COULD EFFECT YOUR OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES!! I am military and covered under Tricare, we are authorized Urgent Care visits free with no co-pay or out-of-pocket expenses. Because AtantiCare bills as a Physicians Group, we had to pay out of pocket for my son when his PCM didn't have the availability to see him."

"Yesterday morning I called and left a message (which the recording states to leave ONE MESSAGE and you will receive a call back, and not to call again…) so that was at 9:31AM… finally at 2:05PM I called again, got placed on hold and then hung up on… so 5:15Pm I call back and the receptionist answered which is when I stated I’ve left a message and received no call back and had an awful sore throat, horrific cough, migraine and body soreness.. (already got tested for covid, it’s my usual yearly sinus infection/cold.. I just need medication to assist symptoms & get strep test…) the receptionist took my number and said she would “send Donna a message and call me back.” Well, she called me back and said “Donna said she is booked and said you have a sinus infection it will go away in a few days.” I’m not shocked she was booked which is why I CALLED AT 9AM to make an appt!!! I am absolutely dumbfounded by this response but wait it gets worse… the receptionist then told me “she is not here tomorrow either so try calling back on Monday morning…. EXCUSE ME?? Dr.Mastro is my primary care why am I revolving around Donnas schedule and how does she know what I have without speaking? Seeing or testing my strep ????? Ever since family medicine switched to Atlantic care it is absolutely AWFUL."
