Reviews of Estes Express Lines
"The guys were super helpful and fast. Great loading and unloading skills."
"Lowes uses this company for freight shipping of larger items and for the life of me I can't figure out why. If I were a Lowes exec I wouldn't put my customer's satisfaction in the hands of such an ineffective, careless, zero customer service organization. Estes non-performance is reflects badly on Lowes. When you hire a third party shipper, it's on you to make sure they deliver. Literally. I spent two days trying to figure out where a large countertop I custom ordered went. The delivery date was missed and nobody had a clue where the item was. Their advice was to tell Lowes to file a claim and ask them for a refund. That's like the valet forgetting where he parked your car and saying ... "Oh well! Guess you should report it lost and buy a new one." This rigmarole set my renovation project back a month. It's not Lowes fault, but I am inclined to rethink buying from Lowes if Estes is part of the supply chain."
"terrible, never shows up on time, always put on hold just to have the line cut off"
"Absolute nightmare. $200 in shipping, and one person shows up on the truck to deliver a massive package. He arrived at my house, got out of his truck, spit and shook his head “no” and said “can’t do it” because there is stairs. No one from Estes asked about stairs or told me this would be a problem. He drove around to the back of my street and had to leave it by a parking garage, leaving me to have to move it down a flight of stairs by myself. He then tried to rush off and make me sign without inspecting it, even though there is a huge sticker on the package that says INSPECT BEFORE ACCEPTING. Terrible communication, terrible service, terrible experience."
"Most freight companies use 18 wheelers to transport your goods, but apparently Estes uses donkeys, seeing as it has taken them 5 business days to go 940 miles from NJ to St Louis and they still have 1200 miles to go before they arrive at the destination in Phoenix. Mind you, an Estes rep told me before I shipped the goods that the shipment would be delivered in 5 days (today) and as of today, they aren’t even halfway. You’d be better off strapping your shipment to the shell of a tortoise or if you’re in a rush (I mean, if you want your goods shipped cross country and delivered in 5-7 business days), don’t choose Estes, go with Roadrunner Freight or literally anyone else instead."
