"SEL SUPPLY-CHAIN SOLUTIONS DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They want their loads to sit on your truck for FREE without paying ANY layover/detention fees. (Although I was told that they have a default $150 layover fee, that I countered due to the amount of layover we experienced…but they didn’t even pay that). We picked up this load on 6/18/2022 to deliver on 6/19/2022. My driver was there to deliver and because the port was so backed up, we were not able to get across to Nantucket until the following morning, which means that my truck sat for 22+ hours with this load. I spoke to the Synergy tracking team and offered to return the load to the shipper while in standby status and was asked not to, and was asked what my additional rate was to hold the load. I was told that a message was sent over, followed up by email. So we remained in standby in good faith that they would do the right thing and compensate me for the additional time my truck was detained, but now they are COMPLETELY GHOSTING ME and not responding by phone or email. I’m very disappointed and This is NOT GOOD BUSINESS."
