"Dr Richie and office staff are extremely kind and welcoming. My beagle had his first visit this week, and I felt the appointment was very thorough. Dr Richie takes his time to explain any issues and his reason for treatment etc. He is very kind, knowledgeable and gentle with pets as well. "I am so happy with their service. They were great with my cat. Very gentle with him. They let me see what they were doing with him. I used to go to whiting vet and they are so pricey. They charged me to cut his nails where crestwood didn't it was part of visit. I wanted to get him neutered whiting vet charged me over 500.00 while crestwood charged me 200.00 that's with bloodwork. Definitely will not ever go back."

"Dr. Richie I have taken all my kuvasz to for checkups as he is reasonable and local. I walk past his office daily. My friend is a vet but you cannot beat walking over as opposed to driving."

"Our initial visits with Crestwood Animal Hospital were great. We have 2 cats that are both on special diets. Over 2 weeks ago I called to get one of my cats food prescriptions refilled. The front desk said no big deal they would take care of it. Over a week later they call back and say that they can't refill the prescription unless we bring the cat in (at this point the prescription has now expired). One of our cats was feral so it stresses her out so bad to leave the house so we only take the cats to the vet when they are actually sick. I called to find out why we had to bring our cat back in to have a visit when there was nothing wrong with her and our other cat has a prescription for life, so it can be done. Now the office will not return my calls. I've left messages for the practice manager and also our cats vet. This practice in the beginning made us believe they cared about the health of our pets but it seems like they only care about making money."
