"EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE!! Dr Marcus showed up late TWICE to scheduled appointments. Front office FAILED twice to verify insurance prior to appointment times thru headway, an issue I did not have with other providers. NEITHER time did the office contact me to notify ahead of appointment time. BOTH times I called in and sat on the Telehealth call waiting for the doctor and had to call the office when doctor did not show up, only for them to tell me they failed to verify insurance prior to appointment. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! See another provider!!!"

"I was initially hesitant to see Dr.Marcus, or any doctor in this field of study. As a patient now of over 4 years she has been all but a positive impact in my life. I believe many people miss understand what she provides vs what a therapist provides. Every persons situation is different. I would like to remind anyone reading the negative reviews that they are all subjective and Dr. Marcus is there to provide what she believes is the right path of treatment. I was not simply just provided medication on a first visit. Dr. Marcus took time to understand my situation, and provided the proper treatment/guidance. I do not have grand expectations of all doctors to just “cure” complex issues, but I can say through the years of ongoing treatment with Dr.Marcus my quality of life has since the improved since first stepping into her office."

"From front desk to treatment…here we go. The front desk at this place is extremely receptive and hears your issues almost as doctors themselves. They are impeccable when it comes to scheduling and letting you know when something comes up. They have even sent in scripts that ive ran out of under doctor marcus’ approval. Never have i had a problem with them since ive been going for the past year and change. I came to doctor marcus because i have something called a dual diagnoses. What that means is you suffer from both drug addiction and mental illness. I searched far and wide for years looking for a way to get out. Alas I had found doctor marcus. Our first session was a complicated one being that i have over six diagnoses’ and it took about two months for us to really get the regimen down but when we did, my life changed. Not only was she amazing at listening to my issues, but she was responsive too. Not just head nods and mmhmm’s. Real answers to real problems. I get excited to go here every time i have an appointment because i know nothing bad will come from it. She isnt a doctor who will strip you of your meds, she doesnt seem to judge, and she knows it’s ultimately up to the patient on whether or not they want to take a medication or not. Ive seen bad reviews about her but i haven’t witnessed any of that behavior myself. We eventually talked about seeing a therapist too, which they also have on site just to make sure people get what they need. Her name is doctor janet and i highly recommend her as well. From walking into this place for the first time to the times ive walked in before, I knew i was safe. Yes, she is more expensive than other psychs and trust me ive been through more than a handful. However, sadly in this field you get what you pay for and she is worth every penny."

"If you are looking for someone who has outstanding credentials, truly cares for patients, and will guide you in the right path to wellness, look no further than Dr. Marcus. The first visit with any new doctor, in my experience, is always a bit awkward because you don't know them and they don't know you. After the first initial visit with Dr. Marcus, everything went well and she definitely knows what she is talking about; the patients well being is first priority to her. Her staff is also very helpful, respectful, and they greet you kindly as soon as you walk in. I have never been into a doctors office where the receptionists greet you by your first name. It is always 'who are you and what time is your appointment' type of scenario. Not with Dr. Marcus and her staff! Here is what you must remember, a professional can give you all the advice and treatment necessary to help you but unless you are willing to listen, you will never get better. So if you are looking for a great experience and top notch knowledge, go see Dr. Marcus and she will take care of you every step of the way!"

"this dr gets 1 star, if I could give 0 I would. On first phone call to schedule appointment I was told its $400 upfront. If this dr truly treated addictions then she would know an addicted person probably doesn't have $400 just sitting around. Kudos Abir Marcus for being in a profession that is supposed to HELP people. First do no harm, right? It seems all you care about is lining your pockets with an addicts $$ and not caring if it harms the patient. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PERSON TO ANYONE. NEVER."
