The people who go there are friends and neighbors being expertly taken care of in a relaxed setting. The converted three story home in a residential area makes a great venue for getting better. "As a result of a fall, I sprained both of my ankles. I saw an orthopedist who naturally gave me a script for physical therapy. My father-in-law recommended I go to Maple Leaf based on his own positive experience. When I called to schedule, I expected to wait weeks, but to my surprise, I was scheduled the very next day. On the day of my appointment, the wait time to be seen was less than 10 minutes. Rick assessed my ankles, listened to my concerns, and explained my treatment plan. He answered all of my questions and was patient. I attended sessions 3x a week and began feeling a difference within the first week. Over the course of 12 weeks, I was either treated by Rick or Jack with the assistance of the kindest aides Ilona and Regina. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. "Hello. Working in the construction field I suffered from a few injuries. In July 2005 I had a 3 level lower lumbar fusion. After surgery I could barely walk let alone dend at the waist. After about 6 months of PT I was able to return to work with no restrictions. Granted my surgeon played a large part in my out come I truly believe that it was Rick and his staff that got me back to a normal life.
