"I like Dr. Kossev and would be happy to continue to see her. She listens and is very kind and knowledgeable. However, the office staff and nurses are horrible. The scheduling department is miserable and rude. No one knows what they’re doing. The condescending passive aggressive nurse who brought me in the room today was literally talking about me right outside the door and I heard the entire conversation. Very unprofessional. She claims I lied about missing an appointment but I had it in my calendar for the wrong day. I did not lie. She claims I lied and got text messages about the appointment but I did not lie. I never got a text, I got an email. Why would I make that up? And maybe next time wait until I leave before you talk about me….I would have fired her on the spot for that but they do not care about anyone. They talk about all the patients constantly. I’ve heard them making fun of patients too. Guess there’s no HIPAA laws at sea girt medical. Another time I needed medical clearance for a surgery. The office staff i spoke to told me they would fax over medical clearance and I did not need to be seen by the doctor. Fine. Turns out of course I did need medical clearance and had to have a last minute visit which they gave me the hardest time about. The office manager peg called me very rude “idk who you spoke to before but you need medical clearance so you have to postpone your surgery”. Well maybe you should be training your staff better. Additionally, the wait time is also very long. They always put you in the room right away but then you wait in the room for a very long time. I waited for an hour in the room on my last visit. This visit I am typing this from the room and we are so far at 30 minutes."
"Ever since they switched to Consensus (months ago now) they are disorganized & unhelpful. They fired all of the old staff and hired new people who never answer the phone. If you need an appointment you have to physically drive there, and even then appointments are a week to two weeks out. This is because when they switched to Consensus one of the doctors left and they promised to still see all of their patients without hiring a new doctor to replace them. Really unfortunate as the doctors & nurses themselves are all great."
"I feel for the current Dr's that are still with the practice. Being bought out by this company really dragged down the service for it's patients. I'll have to look for a new general doctor unfortunately."
"The office staff here has absolutely no idea what's going on. They are completely disorganized. I came in for an appointment they checked me in. Had me sit for over a half hour before they told me the doctor that I was here to see doesn't come in on Mondays. Also, my wife had an appointment for Wednesday. They let me know she doesn't come in on Wednesdays either. Tried arguing with me about an MRI that I got. They scheduled me the MRI after I got the MRI. I called for the results and they told me I never got an MRI and they never scheduled me one. It was months of going back and forth with them before they finally were able to find the paperwork that they scheduled me to get an MRI. I still don't know what the results were."
"This office and my dr used to be excellent. And the new owners are idiots, Walgreens has to call them if I need any refills. If I need to see my dr when I'm sick, I can't get an appointment for 2 weeks? And get a lecture from some rude lady? I guess after a 20 yr relationship, I have to find a new dr because he's never available and you MUST book in advance. However, I don't know in advance when I'll be sick. SMH. Cheryl was the best at the desk and someone should get her back asap. I have no clue who answered the phone but they need people skills asap! Looking for a new dr today and that's sad. This was the best dr I've had."
