"I decided to go to Next Level because their approach seemed novel based on the commercials. If anything, the advertisements extremely underrepresent the wealth of knowledge and experience that the staff has to offer. As a paralyzed veteran and medical doctor, I had unique needs for injury rehabilitation. I tried many of the physiatry and alternative therapy modalities we recommend at my practice, yet was met with marginal results (as most of our patients have). This is in-part due to the system of healthcare we operate within which constrains billing and budgeting and consequently results in diminished patient outcomes. At Next Level, I was paired with Dr. Elyse Dinan. She far outperformed my frankly unrealistic expectation of recovery and rehabilitation planning! Though I was lucky to be paired with such a skilled Care Provider, over the multiple months of my ongoing therapy and training, I was also fortunate to get input and observe the other doctors in settings with their patients as well as benefit from their input in the team-focused nature of the Next Level approach. The Marlton NJ office is very lucky to have such a depth of highly effective, knowledgeable, adaptable, and positive-minded Care Providers. Part of the magic that makes Next Level over-deliver on their results is in the homework they do between sessions. As a patient, I was amazed to have focused & dedicated 1-on-1 time with Dr. Elyse. In my experiences in clinical practice, the self-reports my patients regarding their therapy, and that of my friends’ & family members’ feedback on their physical therapy… nearly all report that they had split-time or limited time with their care providers. Dr. Elyse drilled down into the complex biomechanics of me as a wheelchair user with skeletal stabilization rod fixation throughout. I would be a nightmare scenario for many of the most seasoned professionals. Dr. Elyse and the team adapted, adjusted, and developed custom tailored therapy specific to all of my intricate limitations and carried me through what could have been a functionally debilitating injury. With custom tailored training programs to do between sessions, close oversight, and great intuition while evaluating feedback from the prior session… my evolving plan walked me through the rehabilitation process leaving me significantly better than I was pre-injury, and with a healthier approach to continue honing my fitness progress moving forward in a safer and more effective manner. I wholeheartedly stand by all the entire staff at the Marlton branch of Next Level; from the moment you arrive and are greeted by Catherine, to your individualized training with Dr. Elyse, Dr. Saige, Dr. Devi or Denny… you are in phenomenal hands! "I worked with Dr. Elyse at Next Level for about eight months following a serious foot surgery (Lisfranc), and it was a great experience! My recovery progressed better than I could've expected and I credit it back to the incredible, personalized plan Elyse created for me. "I went to Next Level for assistance with sciatic nerve pain in my lower back and leg. Additionally, I had limited hip flexibility and nagging pain. The lack of mobility and pain made it difficult to drive, ride a bike and sit comfortably. Dr. Elyse diagnosed the sources of my pain and lack of mobility. She explained the healing process and designed a treatment plan to deal with pain mitigation first, strengthening underutilized muscles and improving flexibility.
