"This is the excellent school! My son feels safe and happy here. All the teachers and support staff are extremely friendly. They all really care about our kids. The school provides with a very good education. They teach children to respect adults and each other. This school is bullying free. Any bullying episodes recognized and handling right away. I totally disagree with the previous review. All the children get fair grades for the work they do. If they need help in any areas, a teacher always bring it up to a repent. The teachers are always there to help. Small size classes are very effective in learning process. If you are looking for an excellent elementary school for your child, this is the one!"

"Excellent place for children! Marlboro Preparatory Academy is an affordable privet school in Marlboro NJ. It has a very high level of advanced academic programs for children enrolled from Pre-K classes trough 4th grade. My child has been at MP for 3 years and I can tell that all students at MP receive a higher level of education comparing to the public schools. Small class size of 10 - 12 students, where the teacher is able to give more attention to various needs of individual student. Meals are included in price. MP offers great extra curricular activities like tennis, soccer, dance, piano and vocal lessons.Highly recommend!"

"Changed the name to Marlboro prep and Montessori of Morganville so bad reviews do not follow. Different name same bad school. Before you sign your child for this school you need to know the following: Private schools do not need any accreditation and/or monitoring by the department of education or any other governing agency. Basically you trust your child's education to the school management. The manager/owner/principal has a background in computer science and no official degree in education. The school is basically on its own. No one supervises it, except the owner. Conflict of interests? I think so. You cannot be certain that your child is getting good education because you cannot validate the tests. There is no way for you to know how your child is doing in school until you transfer him out. More than a few parents were extremely disappointed to find out that their children were not as brilliant as they thought they were when they went to public school. I know of at least 2 kids who were left a grade behind. A lot of material taught in public schools was not delivered by Marlboro prep. This is important to know if you want your child to receive good comprehensive education. Also, there is clearly a favoritism in this school. If the owner likes you-your child will get all the benefits. Beware if she does not like you. Some children are getting preferential treatment because their parents "deliver goods" and services to the owner. The goods vary from bouquets of flowers to dental and construction work. The kids of those parents who are the "friends of the owner" get special treatment. There is lot of drama going on in the school and it clearly affects the children as they become the scapegoats for owners' relationship with parents. A lot of times the kids are punished because the owner is upset with their parents, and the kids are clueless of exact reasons why they are being reprimanded. My post about Marlboro Prep is not an emotional vent related to my interaction with the owners. Moreover, the owners were playing nice for awhile, and I was one of the people to tell all my friends about how great this school was. I did not know that the test answers were altered by the school to present to the parents that their kids were smart. I was told that my child was exceptional and very talented in ballet and/or music, however the same was told to every parent in the school. It is a money maker. It is marketing strategy. We were under the illusion that our daughter was the best until we had an independent evaluation of her academic level. We conducted an investigation and learned the flows of the school's curriculum and teaching methods. Please do not take it as a personal attack of the owners.This school is an illusion of good education. You can use high school books, but it does not mean that your child is getting advanced education. You can teach them geometry in 1st grade but it will not help them advance if you do not teach first grade material. There is a huge gap of material not covered by the school and this gap is masked by so-called "advanced books". The owners use "big words" to lure the parents into so-called "advanced private education". The only positive part of this school is that it is cheaper than other schools in the area. Otherwise it is not good at all. May 2016 Willy disappeared Gail appeared instead of Willy with a positive review. Proves my point. Fake reviews. The owner will run out of fake names soon.
