Reviews of Virtua Urgent Care - Voorhees
"Excellent service at this urgent care. The wait time wasn't bad the day I went here. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to others."
"this place was truly a blessing. Rose was so sweet and so personable. Nicole Pivonka was incredibly kind and so knowledgeable. SO grateful I could make an appointment and connect with MyChart. THANK YOU!!!"
"I came to this urgent care because of what felt like a sinus infection that had been getting progressively worse. I knew these urgent cares could be hit or miss, but I was in a lot of discomfort. This visit has wildly changed my opinions on Virtua as a whole. Firstly, the doctor who saw me tried using a holistic approach, tapping my face and using pressure points? She even tugged on my ear at one point. She told me it wasn’t quite an infection yet, “There’s still a chance to beat it” without antibiotics. She said she doesn’t prescribe antibiotics until after 10-14 days. This was day 6 and I couldn’t sleep because of the pain I was in… She prescribed a cough medicine instead which was sent to my local CVS. I got to CVS as soon as they opened, and the pharmacist told me they already reached back out to Virtua because the medicine was on manufacturer’s back order and now they needed to wait for an updated prescription. CVS told me they’d reach out as soon as they hear back from the doctor’s office. I never heard back as Virtua never responded to their message. The next day I was luckily able to make an appointment with my primary. By then I had pink eye and was told I’d probably had an ear and sinus infection for a few days at that point. The nurse was shocked at my urgent care experience. They immediately prescribed me antibiotics. That night I called Virtua corporate to make a complaint and request a refund on my copay. The woman told me she took all my notes and would have someone reach out to me in the next day or two. By midday 3 days later I still hadn’t heard anything so I called again. I was told they never got my original message and was transferred to the office manager. I put in another complaint with him. He then reached out to me later that he needed me to make my complaint for a third time, and needed my response in writing this time. After a few days, he got back to me saying my complaint was reviewed and that I wouldn’t be getting a refund. He also called CVS a liar, saying they never received a message from them. I would never come back to Virtua because of this experience and I wrote this review in case it can help others. I’d honestly rather wait out an appointment for my primary or try another company. I’d take my chances quite literally anywhere else."
"Nothing like waiting for a doctor in a room with urine on the floor and a dead mouse in a mousetrap… As you can guess, it wasn’t the best experience. I’d recommend going elsewhere."
"After a serious fall, I waited several days before seeking professional consult. Knowing that I would probably need x-rays, I went to the Virtua urgent care on route 73 Voorhees. Every staff member in that office was professional, gracious, and focused upon my situation. Dr. Levinson listen very closely while discussing my fall, and the discomfort associated with it. Based upon my experience, and the final outcome, I will definitely recommend this particular, urgent care, and speak highly of their staff."
