Reviews
"The food had spices but lacked salt. You really need the white sauce and green sauce to be able to eat the food which is really unfortunate. Portions are also small as previous reviews mentioned. Go to the halal cart at the corner instead. UPDATE: I wrote this review so that people can see an honest review. The owner responded claiming I did drugs? I have never done drugs in my life, NOR did I come in your establishment with a laptop. I picked up my food for takeout. It is clear you cannot take constructive feedback as a result I am lowering my rating. Owner, before responding you should've checked my other reviews. Don't make false accusations. It is clear that anyone who tells the truth about your establishment you have an issue."
"One of the workers basically peer pressured my family into eating here. The food is AMAZING, but was only enough to actually feed a 2 yr old. My family and I now have to go and find another restaurant to eat at cause the quantity is trash. Also one of the guys used the bathroom and didn’t lock the door. Not coming here again :/"
"My group of 6 came here after walking around the Christmas house decorations in Dyker Heights and the name of this place was no lie. This place was fire. Service was incredible and the food was better. We ordered a large plate of 1/2 Lamb and 1/2 chicken as our entree, an order of the meat sambusa, and an order of fries. The sambusa and fries came first which we ate with the 3 incredible house made sauces. The sambusa was crunchy on the outside and filled with a delicious well seasoned meat on the inside. That paired with the green sauce was delicious. The fries were also great although in the future I'll try either the lentil soup or the Kurma. Lastly the plate, again, was fire. The chicken and lamb were very flavorful and tender, which was a joy to eat. Served on a bed of rice and a salad, it all paired so well together with the juiciness of the meat, the crunch of the salad, and the rice. It all came together for an incredible flavor mixture which was even further expanded upon with the sauces available. Each adding a novel and delicious combination. I'll be back!"
"Wow! Such DELICIOUS food. The meat was grilled perfectly, the rice was some of the best we've had. The Sambosas are a must have! You can tell they use premium ingredients in everything they make. This place is literally a hidden gem. Just try and see for yourself..."
