"Absolutely awful experience. I made an appointment with this doctor and drove from over an hour away for this appointment. Someone called me an hour before to confirm the appointment except with another neurologist at the practice than the one I had scheduled with, named Dr. Abubakr. When I finally got there to my appointment on time after driving the hour and 20 minutes in the rain, I was told the doctor left and cancelled the rest of his appointments for the day. When I asked why they confirmed the appointment, I was told that that is done by a call center who’s unaware of anything taking place in the office (nice coordination, right?) I was then given an appointment to their other location for 5:40pm when it was 5:30pm at the office and it takes more than 30 mins to get to lower Manhattan from upper Manhattan. After racing to get there and having to race to get there, I got there at 6pm and begged the office to still see me. I hope others can learn from my experience that you the customer service is poor and the doctor’s don’t care about their patients and just cancel appointments without any warning or notice (and even after confirming the appointment an hour beforehand.)"
