"In good faith, I contacted JAG PT in Pearl River a few times before I decided to use them. After they acknowledged that my insurance was included in the network, I filled out a survey on- line. A business day prior to my scheduled appointment. I got a message from their billing representative (Raymond). He said it was their policy for the contracted rate to receive a copay of $115.16 (each) for all 12 visits, as the deductible of my insurance was not met. First off, my insurance doesn’t work that way as I explained to them from the beginning.The copays are listed on the card, and not above $40 for any specialty. That is, after I see the bill with my plan. After that, in his message, he says: ‘Maybe we’ll see you , maybe not’. I tried to contact them, but they never returned my call. I had to find another PT place. If I could give them negative 3 stars, I would. I don’t know how the heck they have good reviews. They must be friends of the owner or physical therapists. At least, from the insurance standpoint. Consequently, A very greedy, shady and unprofessional experience as they want all the money up front before treating you!"
