Reviews of Mount Sinai Hospital Klingenstein Pavilion OB/GYN
"Ive gone to this clinic several times. They ALWAYS slow amd always over crowded. Ive been waiting 8 days for them to call me back to set an appointment and when i called a few days ago i was given the run around. Ladies u do not have to put up with this office. Find better. Theres better out there."
"I had the worst experience of my life in this hospital when giving birth to my baby, I almost lost my life due to the negligence of the doctors and until today they have not responded to me because they intervened on me 3 times in surgery in less than a month, I caught 3 bacteria and they manipulated my medical record, that they should have sent it to me in 10 days and they did it in 3 months. They caused me post-traumatic stress from which I still haven't recovered a year ago."
"The second floor nursing staff (OB) are very disrespectful and prejudiced. Throughout the whole day and night yesterday, we were asked more than once, “does anyone here speak English?” another nurse blatantly said, “I hope at least one of you speaks English.” These are the first things they said to us when they came to us. Doing the trip up and down from the waiting area to our room, we decided to sit in the screening room but we were swiftly told to go sit in the waiting room. Fine. But when it came to other people who sat in that room, they were not told to go to the waiting room. Are they selective in who they ask to not sit there? It doesn’t seem right to me. The nighttime nursing staff needs to learn to respect all people, not to be prejudiced and to have a little more morality. This is not an isolated incident. Two of my sisters went to Mount Sinai Women’s Center for prenatal care and both of them have been, on multiple occasions, asked, “do you speak English?” Because they dress differently, does that make them non-English speakers? I have raved about Mount Sinai Clinics for the care that they provide, but it doesn’t feel right to go to them anymore when their hospital staff don’t have common human decency."
"My appointment was changed from 2:45 to what I thought to be 11:45 and they must be having a bad week or something since on the walk-in a client was cursing out the staff and doctors about not being able to be seen for a sonogram. I was told that I couldn’t be seen either because I was told to wrong time over the phone, and there mychart system is defective. I take off work to make my appointments and they don’t consider that, I guess they think because we are pregnant we have all the time in the world and that is unacceptable my appointment was scheduled 3 weeks prior and should not have been changed 2 days before that’s completely unprofessional. When I asked about a location that’s closer to my home the receptionist told me to goggle it. Smh some people do not belong to work in some places. They pick and choose who they want to help simply because they know them. I’m elated about my baby but this experience has definitely made me never want to step foot back in this hospital some of the staff are ratchet. Lack of people skills."
