"Had a 9:00 AM appt and was first one in office. As people came in they went in. I was there for 4 hours. And the doctor when she finally came in paid little attention, was dismissive of what I said and just wanted to move on to next patient, she was gone in 10 mins. At least nurse practitioner was nice but cmon! Just got bill and got charged nearly $200.00 for ear wax removal and a $360.00 office visit charge for advice to go across street for Allegra D. Thought office charge was excessive so called their billing office, guy was rude and said that was an office charge, even though my wife had been there before and never had the charge of that amount. Guess they charge by the hour. People at front desk are great but we are going to a new location a few miles away rated at nearly 5 stars. DO NOT GO HERE EVEN FOR A BANDAID!"

"terrible in Oakland. doctor one day a week and nurse practitioner the other? I will never go back again. only good thing is that I got my flu shot. I told the nurse practitioner my problems. I have bad allergies. was not given medicine . she forgot to call in my nasal spray so I had to buy my own."

"The only thing good about this office is the girls at the front desk that have to deal with our complaints because Dr Toot is probably the worst doctor I have ever gone too. Thank God everyone complained about him and they put a new doctor in the oakland office. I almost feel bad for her. I complained about the bill my husband received for a 5 min visit when we were both in the office. That’s 2 1/2 mins each. We were billed $550 each!!! You can tell that most patients found a new doctor. There was always someone in the waiting room now it’s empty. The only reason I still go here is because of Dimitria and Dawn at the front desk, Margie and Fonda the nurses and Ryan who does the lab work."

"I agree with the previous poster. Good luck finding out your test results. 5 days now no medication because they don’t respond to any requests. There are a few staff there that are on the ball, but however they can’t do everything themselves. I can’t understand why I have to beg and constantly follow up for my results. If it’s that difficult to call and discuss the results with your patients, then at least set up an automated system that does it for you. Dr. that I dealt with was clueless on everything I brought to her attention. I just switched doctors/office today. I’m done with this practice. Go elsewhere, you’ve been warned."

"The nurses here are great, but the office staff is lacking. Phones ring and ring during hours where the office is open - but they end up being answered by a remote answering service after so many rings. When I do speak to someone in the office they give me the same song and dance time after time and am told I will get a call back, which has never happened. Receiving test results should not be this difficult. It’s frustrating to say the least. I am extremely reasonable and willing to wait, but what Riverside medical is doing is moving toward medical malpractice. If I ever get my test results, this will be my last visit to any Riverside Medical office. Looking for a doctors office? My recommendation is go elsewhere. This office is not worth the stress."
