"The complaint letter I emailed to Roseland Pediatrician today: “Hello, I am a very angry mother of your patient, N. I brought N to your clinic yesterday. I don’t know the name of the pediatrician who served N yesterday, you can check it, and please, mark it somewhere that I don’t want her to check my kids any more. I have two bad experience with her. Last winter I brought N telling her that he has low fever more than ten days, she listened to his lungs saying that they are absolutely clean, giving us no medicine or anything to relief… In two days N ended up in emergency with breathing difficulties. N for several days was put on inhalation and on lots of medicines for treatment. Yesterday I brought exhausted N who could not even sip water because of the terrible pain in his throat… She took a two minute quick test, checked only one ear, saw that N’s throat was very red, smelly and swollen, and instead of giving an adequate help to N based on her professional knowledge and experience, she ended up judging N’s condition only based on a 2 minute quick test. The regular test result, she said, will be on Saturday. She left N to stand the pain from Wednesday till Saturday. She did not even say good-buy, left the room… This morning, after another painful night full of tears, I had to take N to West Caldwell Urgent Care. For your information N is positive in Strep Throat. He needs urgent Antibiotic and pain medicine, because his throat is in a terrible condition. The condition your pediatrician saw yesterday, but decided to leave N with no help because the two minute quick test show negative… Are you joking????? How is happened that you can not even handle simple tests in your clinic to know results in 15 minutes as all other clinics do??? I am already afraid to bring my kids to your clinic. I respect Doctor Anello and Doctor Makhlouf, but I don’t want to see the other pediatrician to serve my kids any more. Also, I hope you will find the solution of testing problem in your clinic. Very angry mom. “"

"I love this office they have the same staff for years. If you want a good laugh schedule with Dr.Maklouf he’s very thorough, with great bedside manner. I just met Dr. Abuezzi in the hospital after I gave birth, she too is a great pediatrician."

Roseland Peds staff is continuously treating patients with the finest care and they treat patients like family. The environment is so friendly and super clean!! Dr. Makhlouf and Dr. Anello have made my visits to the office as helpful and easy as can be. They are always attentive to my needs and making sure I get the proper help and care. It makes me so sad to have to say goodbye as i’ve gotten older and no longer in need of pediatric care. To find a doctor like Anello and Maklouf is going to be rare. Thank you for all your help and healing my medical concerns…So sad to have to leave…It can’t be real:("

"Abu Ezzi is my favorite, only had Makhlouf once he was in and out …. I find Anello to be a bit rude and dismissive, I’ve had a few run ins with her and none were pleasant. She is why I took two stars. Other than her the staff is lovely."

For 17 years I have had no problem getting my children appointments the same day due to illness and the entire nursing staff is polite, responsive, and patient. Most recently, Dr. Makhlouf went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was being treated for the correct diagnosis and stayed on top of her testing, other doctors, and hospitalization.
