Concentra Urgent Care 375 McCarter Highway, Newark, NJ 07114

"I arrived at noon and didn’t leave the facility until 4 p.m. As I patiently waited for the doctor, they forgot I was in the room. However, I blame the person in charge of delegating my information to the physician. Upon arrival, the facility sends a link to each patient's phone to check-in. There’s hardly any proper working WiFi to complete the check-in process. The waiting process is based on who completes their form first no matter who arrives before the other. This causes conflict and an unstable environment. The front desk staff upon entry, allows certain individuals to go ahead of others. I understand that Concentre has many different services they provide as physical therapy, drug screenings, physicals, TB, and more. However, the conversations held with different individuals were spoken aloud which confirmed the individuals were there for the same thing as me. Unprofessional and unorganized, and I did not approve. There was a tall caucasian lady whose office sat behind the front desk, a short older lady, and an African American lady who took my weight, I liked them three."

"By far my worst experience. I had a 8:30am and wasn’t called to the back until 1:50pm and that was only to do vitals. Once my blood pressure and stuff was taken, they sent me back to the front to sit & wait for a room! By 3:30pm i had to leave to get to my next doctors appointment. So i was told to come back tomorrow, in which i did! I was there for an additional 5 hours & when a room finally opened up i was left in the room waiting to be seen for over an hour. Thats ridiculous, to have people waiting for hrs with appointments. Just there starving! I left with a headache! If i could give 0 stars i would! Then again i would give 5 stars to Julie Saint Jean M.D. She’s always very helpful & such a sweet lady. Her as well as Vandana Farinhas PT"

"Wish i had read the reviews before I visited this location. Place needs an upgrade. Nurses working without gloves Staff in the back having personal conversations speaking loudly its very unprofessional here. When u get to the front desk they want you to explain what’s wrong with you in front of everyone. Their picking up customers call on speaker so everyone in the waiting room can hear the customer conversation. Like do you guys follow hippa. While waiting in the back you guys are talking about patients. Your in one room and you can hear the next patient and the doctor speaking about everything. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. With these comments I’m not sure why you guys are even open. Wait time is also ridiculous Better off going to the emergency room. They also don’t have sympathy for patients that are very sick. There too busy speaking about their personal lives then helping patients. Got here so 935am didn’t get called until 10:40am For Co payment reasons was willing to pay cash and was told i needed to have the exact change out walk across the street to a gas station to get change for . Not even carrying that I’m sick and need to be seen. got called to the back 10 min later and sat in the back for over 1hr. Surprisingly the doctor was nice"
