The Clinic of NJI

The Clinic of NJI, located at 121 Cedar Lane in Teaneck, New Jersey, is a health institution dedicated to providing assessment, treatment, and support to individuals in need. Since 1972, the Psychoanalytic Clinic of NJI has offered low-cost therapy to those who may not be able to afford high quality treatment elsewhere. The Clinic serves individuals of all backgrounds without discrimination based on gender, age, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or disability.

Therapists at the Clinic include externs, interns, and psychoanalytic candidates who are supervised by experienced professionals. Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis services are available for adults, adolescents, and children, with a focus on individualized care and support.

The Clinic of NJI is committed to patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA Privacy Act regulations. Supervision is a key component of the internship program at the Clinic, ensuring that interns receive guidance and support as they work with clients.

Affordable rates and sliding scale options are available for those in need, with most insurance companies providing reimbursement for services. Group therapy sessions, including bereavement groups and social skills groups, are also offered to address a variety of needs.

Weekend appointments are available, and efforts are made to accommodate clients within 24 hours of contact. Office space is also available for rent at the Clinic's location on Cedar Lane.
