"Very unprofessional facility. Very rude manager supervisors. They don’t listen to your concerns and when you try to speak to manager or supervisor , it’s like speaking to the wall. They don’t care. They don’t help. One star is more then what they deserve. 0 stars for me."
"I have always had a good experiences with this urgent care facility. The staff is typically friendly and the doctors I have seen are competent and professional. It's saved me a long trip to my primary care who is now located out of the area. My problem is with Mountainside Medical Group billing. I have been dealing with a billing issue from my last visit for months. I have been getting bills for out of network service when the center does and always has accepted my insurance. The staff at the facility are friendly and told me that I should only have to make a co-pay. According to a person I spoke with today, they accept my insurance and all the doctors accept my insurance. I keep getting told by MMG billing that I have a deductible. There should be no deductible with my in-network visit. The person at the Broad Street Immedicenter told me it was probably billed incorrectly to my insurance. I have made multiple phone calls but MMG billing but they will not check the billing for me and insist the problem is with my insurance. My insurance just confirmed that the bill they received was not for urgent care, but for an in-office visit with an individual doctor who is out of network. They contacted MMG for me and told me that I was seeing the doctors as regular doctors and not as an urgent care facility. I'm not sure how I was supposed to know that. The reason they paid for the previous doctor visit is because he was in network. So now I am really confused because I was just told by the Immedicenter staff that all of their doctors are in-network. I am still on hold with my insurance and asked them to help me file a No Surprises Act claim for this bill. I'm thinking of cancelling an upcoming surgery at Mountainside with another MMG doctor that I love, but a friend of mine was stuck with a bill for over $3,000 she ended up paying because she couldn't deal with fighting any longer. Private Equity Groups + healthcare = major stress and big bills! And our insurance companies don't make it that easy. I had to ask them to look up the No Surprises Act. I'll update later."
"We love this place. Both my son and I have been here a few times for various unplanned reasons and we always have good experiences. All the staff are professional and explain everything in detail. We especially like how detailed the providers are. During one visit we had a longer than desired wait but it is what it is considering we didn't have an appointment."
"As someone who’s worked there. Worst place I’ve ever set foot in to give them my time and day. Very immature work place starting with the supervisors and HR workers who’s in business with them there. It was a nightmare since day 1. Everything there is very unorganized and unprofessional. Only good thing there are the front and back office workers. Very good and hard working ladies, which in due time definitely should find themselves a better facility to work in. Just look at the reviews and you can see and tell for yourself with all the 1 star they have!. No complain on the doctors. Good peoples. The place is what makes everyone who works there look bad and it Definitely needs a change of their supervisor. They need someone who’s professional and not just trying too hard, Someone who knows how to run a workplace the right way , especially in the medical field That place feels like your in high school with the mean girls . Definitely not professional or a place I would recommend anyone to work at Or be seen as a patient."
"Went there for a broken ankle-- I was given misinformation. I was told it didn't matter if I elevated it and I should apply heat to it instead of ice by the doctor on staff. Also, I was left in the room at the end of the appointment in wheelchair. Someone was supposed to wheel me to the door where my ride was waiting since it was pouring out. The receptionist said she couldn't help me and everyone else was busy. Honestly, I couldn't have received worse service. I would rather live in pain than go there again. Plus, there is a new urgent care a few doors down! Do not be fooled by the fact that is is associated with Hackensack. Do not go here!!!!"
