"I was the class of 2020.. Yes, covid ruined my 8th grade year. I was at Holy Spirit for about 10 years or so. I started in Pre-K3 and I graduated at 8th graduated. 1st off I want to say Sister Marie is the best. Sister helped me become the person I am today. I currently go to DePaul Catholic. Most of my 8th grade class received academic scholarships to high schools. Holy Spirit prepared me for highschool. The science class I took in 8th grade was basically an honors biology course. I was placed in honors biology and because of Holy Spirit, it was a breeze. Holy Spirit is a great school. I would 100% recommend this school to anyone. Holy Spirit has a special place in my heart."

"I have three children enrolled at HSS and have spent five years there. I could not be happier with the level of education my kids are receiving; the level and frequency of communication pertaining to each child's performance (academic and social) that I receive; and the personal development my kids have shown while enrolled in the school. I have an off-the-charts-smart fourth grader, a sensitive and emotional first-grader, and a kindergartener who thinks she's the boss. All of my children have been embraced for their strengths and guided and encouraged in their areas of development. The teachers go out of their way to provide personalized attention, making themselves available before and after school, for both for challenge work and tutoring. They are thrilled when the kids succeed and share their genuine enthusiasm for each child's successes. As a working parent, I very much appreciate the teachers making themselves available to me outside of school hours. They are committed to forming great relationships with parents, as well as the kids. In addition to the incredible teachers and staff, HSS thrives because of parent engagement. I know my presence in the school is welcomed and encouraged. I don't have to wait to ask questions or raise concerns. The faculty and staff is always accessible, and the followup is quick and thorough. I am sure my children are in an academically superior place compared to their public school peers, but that's just one benefit of HSS. My kids are confident, kind, empathetic, and thoughtful. They are surrounded by friends and adults who share the same values of kindness, understanding, honesty, and effort, and they reinforce them at each and every opportunity."

"I live in one of the best school districts in NJ but we switched to Holy Spirit School three years ago and I am so happy we did. Wanting "more" for my children, we looked at various private schools in the region that had high levels of academic focus, strong community and that "something extra". After visiting several school we chose Holy Spirit for many reasons but it was the only school that really stood out as having that "something extra". First, their true commitment to growing the children academically in the most personalized manner was incredible. Allowing them to move forward and learn at their own pace and encouraging them to grow not "waiting for the others to catch up" as we saw in public school. But also, when they need help or a little extra, the teachers and staff have gone out of their way to work personally with the children to help them understand and excite them about the learning. The teachers are always available and happy to offer extra tutoring which is wonderful. The kids are nurtured in a "family" environment to care for, respect and help each other. Beyond the academics there is a community of involvement among the parents. The school events and fundraisers are great fun for the extended community, not just the school community. Annually the entire school rallies around the "school play" which is the largest and most incredibly well produced and directed school play I have ever seen. The kids are from 3rd- 8th grade and they blow the socks off many of the high school productions we've seen. For those 4 months of practice and rehearsals, those kids are a part of something wonderful that they will remember and gain skills they will use for the rest of their lives. My children love Holy Spirit and so do we!"

"Academically farther ahead than the public school that my son attended. This was clear to me when he shadowed there and the classes where he used the same text books as public school, the class at Holy Spirit was numerous chapters ahead in May and June. Great atmosphere where the children are kind and considerate to each other and the values taught at home are reinforced at school by Sr. Marie and all the staff. Wonderful principal and staff that welcome children of all religions and teach the children to be accepting and respectful of the religious differences."
