"Absolute nightmare. Scheduling was hellish. There is no receptionist or anyone on-site to answer the phone. After four 1+ hour visits to determine if I have ADHD the doctor tells me I just need more sleep and then proceeds to tell me I need to come in for “brain mapping” which isn’t covered by insurance and will be $3k+. I was never given a diagnosis, and it just felt off because the office kept pushing this procedure with no desired outcome or reason for it. THEN this doc proceeded to submit to MIB (life insurance database) and basically said that I had a diagnosis and didn’t follow through. So now I can’t get another life insurance policy. This is a crock and a money grab. They also tried to sell me on brain mapping for my daughter for the same price, but again no reason or explanation for the test."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. I won’t bother listing all of the things wrong with this practice, I’ll just say that EVERYTHING you hate about a doctors office is what you will find here. The final straw occurred when we had a virtual appointment to review results of extensive testing and Dr Tramentano was a NO SHOW. I left work early to get to my mother on time for the virtual appointment that we waited 1 month for. All of their communications state the following “If you need to change your appointment, kindly inform our office 2 days prior and please call us to reschedule within 48 hours to avoid a Missed Appointment charge of $150". WHAT ABOUT MY TIME!!!!!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. HORRIBLE, RUDE & UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!"

"No stars ….If you are struggling with any kind of mental illness , DO NOT come to this place for help of any kind . The reviews on this site for this place are accurate. This place is a total SCAM . The staff and the medical help are heartless and unprofessional . The scheduling alone is a nightmare . After struggling and white knuckling for treatment for 2 months with this place I had to put my foot down when I went to an appointment and the medical team gave me a bottle of shampoo and told me to go to the public bathroom and wash my hair in the sink during COVID 19 . I told the no more . Very unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. They charged my insurance thousands of dollars and still I’m suffering . This place has a 1.8 rating for a reason. Absolutely Awful !"

"I dont recommend this place. The doctor I had met with for an Evaluation made stigmatizing statements. They didn't specify what medical records to bring, and when i did bring them after harassing me over them, they didn't look at them. I was rushed during my initial evaluation despite being 30 minutes early, and i emailed them afterward to sort things out because I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Second part of my evaluation was unprofessional, and the doctor did not seem like he was listening to me truly. I was not discussed the results of my evaluation, just emailed them. When I tried to reach out and let them know how harmful it was to me, they ignored me! Til all of a sudden I owe them money after telling me my insurance covered it. I shouldn't have been charged in the first place at all considering that not only did the evaluation not benefit me, but was unreliable as it came from a doctor that holds bias and stigma. A person in that position where they are supposed to help people, should not actively be harming them in any way shape or form. I spoke to a woman via email trying to work it out. It took me multiple times to try and contact them and they only reached out when I wrote my review as I have been updating it as this has happened.. i was not ready to talk to them until a couple months after and tried to talk to them about redoing the evaluation and seeing if something can be arranged. Instead the lady continued to pretend as if there was no issue, asking to schedule an appointment. I dont want that unless there is a plan of action... they continued to speak to me without addressing any of the issues I brought up and continued to encourage treatment... if the evaluation is unreliable, then what exactly are you treating.. i was invalidated, gaslit and ignored by a place thats supposed to help with conditions relating to mental health.... I found this clinic cannot take accountability for their actions which were harmful toward me. I was the professional one in this situation by not lashing out once even though im the one seeking help i remained diplomatic while putting my foot down on this type of behavior and treatment. I gave them time to fix it, i tried working it out with them, but they continued to overlook the harm the doctors words and evalution has caused me.. It is unprofessional to not hold yourselves accountable, and ill have you know medical gaslighting is negligent and abusive and you have no idea the trauma it causes. You're supposed to treat trauma, not perpetuate it in patients, especially your neurodiverse folk. Shame on you."

"I thought the Neuro cognitive institute was a professional place that I could get therapy. The therapy was great but the scheduling department is unorganized and messy. I was doing online sessions and I would receive 15 emails for each appointment that I Had. The worst part was it was month of appointments all out of order. It was literally like spam. Even after complaining about it to them they still had that problem. The last straw was when they booked 2 appointments for me and I had no idea they were happening when I finally found the email saying it was tomorrow I had to cancel because I wasn’t going to be able to be online as I was in work. They are charging me 75 for each missed or rescheduled appointment so now they want 150 dollars. Stay away from this place they trick and trap you into paying them. When I tried to reason with them they wouldn’t take accountability for their mistake and just demanded the money. I would choose somewhere else to go it’s not worth the hidden expense and unprofessional employees."
