"I started using Jon for rehab of my total knee replacement. Can not say enough good things about Jon and his methods! Things that made Jon stand out to me started with his intake process and the detail that he wanted to know what my issue was and what I was hopping to get from treatment. Besides his knowledge, what is so important to me is the one-on-one treatment you receive. This is not the run of the mill PT assembly line, it is you and Jon for an hour of treatment/work. I see the relationship we have developed as being for the long term as needed, which based on my history will continue for a while!!!"
"I started going to see Jon in June 2023 (based on a referral from a friend) to see if he could help with specific neck pain, which was diagnosed and related to a number of issues. I was quite nervous to allow anyone to work on me due to the amount of pain I had experienced. He listened attentively while I explained what was diagnosed and described my level of pain. He also took the time to explain and talk about what he could and could not do for me, which I really appreciated. He has improved and taught me to manage my neck pain and I can’t thank him enough. He has been nothing but patient and kind working with me and is willing to answer my many questions (including when I brought in a diagram of all muscles in the human body and asked him to help me understand from where specific pain emanated). He thinks out of the box and has now helped me with other areas where I have pain. We’ve evolved to a combination of PT, core strengthening and overall strength training. He has a method and order and will explain why he begins with certain strength training exercises. And when I arrive and say that my body is a mess and I need a TLC session (body work on my trouble areas) he understands. His ability to meet me where I am on a particular day is refreshing. His knowledge and hence his ability to troubleshoot what seems unexplainable to me is what keeps me seeing him twice a week for both PT and strength training. It helps that he is a genuinely kind decent human being. He brings the whole package and I highly recommend him."
"After my first session with Dr. Jon, I felt like I was already making progress towards fixing immediate issues and working on root causes to get me back to the physical activities I enjoy. Dr. Jon is very knowledgeable and makes me feel like I am getting a lot of value out of each session. He takes the time to explain how to do various exercises and will even send you videos of yourself doing the exercises with his voiceover directions as home references. I really find his ability to provide hands on physical therapy techniques to address problem areas, coupled with his guidance on laying out a step wise exercise program, to be the optimal combination. In the past, I have found physical therapists who can do one of the two components fairly well, but Dr. Jon is the first I’ve found that can do both aspects very well. I feel like the progress I have made with Dr. Jon is the most I’ve advanced in years and I definitely feel he is setting me up for long-term, sustainable success. I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Jon."
"I’ve been seeing Dr. Jon since I had back surgery to fix a herniated disc. When I started seeing him, I was in rough shape and in a lot of pain. Aside from the pain, I was extremely inflexible and it was something that never seemed to get better no matter how much I stretched. After a few months, I can happily say every single aspect of my physical strength has improved, and the pain that came with exercise is gone after learning proper form. For me, the one on one sessions have been huge, as it allows for constant coaching and oversight of each movement. Many of the stretches and core strengthening exercises were new to me, so ensuring I was doing them correctly was big. In my prior PT experiences, there was never this level of coaching and monitoring, so half the time I was left wondering if I was doing things correctly. With Jon, there’s never been that feeling as he’s with you every step of the way (literally). Overall I enjoy working with Jon because he is very personable and knowledgeable. Prior to my surgery, almost everything he said the orthopedic doctors and surgeons would say to me, was exactly what they would say. I think part of this is due to how specific his sessions are. Based on how you’re feeling and past notes, he tailors the session to target exactly what needs to be focused on. Having a 4 year old at home, he’s also been able to tailor our sessions to get me back to being able to be an active dad. Overall, whether you’re in pain or just looking for someone to show you proper workouts, Jon should be your first and last stop. It’s literally been life changing for me, as I can now move better and am more flexible than I’ve ever been, and most importantly am not in constant pain anymore!"
"When I was 16 I suffered multiple stress fractures in my tibia. I went to my local physical therapy place and they made me feel better for about 1 month before the pain returned. They told me I was good to go back to full activity but less than a year later the stress fractures came back worse. Dr. Jon was recommended to me by my field hockey coach because he helped her various times. Going to Dr. Jon was life changing because I had never experienced one-on-one treatment. He was able to understand, not only what the problem was, but where it rooted from and how to fix it. Dr. Jon helped me get rid of all the pain I was feeling through rehabilitation AND strength training. He even gave me stretches and workouts that I can be doing on my own time to help myself when I am not in session. Before my stress fractures, I had chronic shin splints that benched me from multiple games and practices, but I haven’t had a single problem since I started coming to Dr. Jon. A year ago I was planning on ending my field hockey career after this season due to these problems, but now I am going on to play in college! All in all, I would DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Jon to any person who is experiencing even the slightest bit of pain. He is extremely smart and knows exactly how to get to the root of any problem. I used to dread PT, but ever since I started coming to Form Fix I actually look forward to it!"
