"I’d give a zero if I could - waited 90 minutes to see Dr. - ended up walking out. After waiting 3 months for the appointment was told by the tech you won’t be leaving today with a prescription because I’ll need to return for “contact” visit - would need to be sized. I’ve been wearing the same size lenses for 30 years (and they had all of my records from my past Dr. who moved out of state.) What eye Dr. makes you schedule a “glasses” appointment and then a secondary appointment for contacts. Big waste of time. I’m sorry my past Dr. transferred my file to this place."

The staff at Bedminster Eye and Laser Center are professional and caring. The ethos of the practice emphasizes joining with medical professionals locally in our NY metro area, as well as with national and international medical organizations, so that the best care possible is accessible to all. Dr. Najarian is personable and treats each patient as an individual. The waiting time to get an appointment and for in-office visits may be a bit longer than elsewhere, but the care is well worth it. "I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Najarian and Dr. Ortenzio are great and extremely knowledgeable about all the latest advances in cataract surgery. Everyone at the office and in the operating centers was kind, compassionate and extremely helpful. (Also very gracious in answering my questions). I have worn glasses full time since 1955 and now my distance vision is 20/20 and I wear glasses only for reading. I tell my family I'm living life in high definition now. "While I thought Dr Ortenzio was great the staff can be difficult. The staff is rude, doesn’t return phone calls, and speaks rudely about other patients in common areas. I waited three months for an appointment, more than a month for sample contacts and I have to keep making and going back for appointments. I had to make an appointment for an eye exam, to pick up glasses, to pick up contacts, and a one more appointment after this. Who has time for all of these appointments? Respect for patients is just as important as respect for doctors and staff."
