Wound Healing Program at Morristown Medical Center

"Today was my last day with woundcare at Morristown. To say it was bittersweet is an understatement. While I’m so happy that my wound is healed and I don’t have to come back, I can’t say I won’t miss Dr. Williams, and the nurses (Andrew, Lissette, Lauren) and the wonderful ladies at the front desk. I had the best experience here and highly recommend. Thank you all!!!"

"The office staff and nurses seemed very helpful and pleasant. Dr Skerker however missed a staph infection presenting in the tissue below the wound. I was dismissed and discharged by Dr Skerker while showing leakage and unusually low blood pressure. I was told verbatim he couldn’t help me and it would have to be closed by a plastic surgeon all the while missing an infection. “It was the medicine I was taking that was causing the wound not to heal”, while the the other 4 wounds from the surgery healed just fine. After seeking competent medical advice at another facility it was found, sent out for biopsy, confirmed and removed. This was a very stressful and disappointing experience and would recommend getting another opinion or choosing another facility."
