"This has been my first experience on a cruise and it is definitely one for the books. Let's start with the food. My favorite restaurants on the cruise are Blue Iguana and Guy's Burger Joint -- I still crave those from time to time. The buffet is alright, the food is mediocre in my opinion. I recommend going to the ship restaurant (the name I can't recall) for dinner, they have a variety of options on the menus that change everyday. However, there is always a long waiting time. There are activities almost every hour so you will never get bored! There are various shows, auctions, and games which you can attend; my only regret is not going to the game night and the comedy shows. My favorite is movie night, where they have screening on the top deck of the ship. Arrive early to get a plate of food and good seats! As for the destination, St. John is a quaint town in Canada with friendly people, great food, and fun activities. I went with zip lining and it was a blast! And the cruise isn't complete without its excellent services from the dining and rooming staffs. Every worker I came across have greeted me with a warm smile. I left some extra tip for room services. Overall, if you're considering going on a cruise, you can't go wrong with the Carnival cruises. I had a superb time cruising with Carnival Sunshine!"
