"The bald guy that's the boss of this place was extremely rude and racist. Do not support this place if you actually believe black people should be treated like people. Not to mention there was a woman named Jessica here that called me the B word and her husband said I had nappy hair. He works as a doorman and she works as a manager, I'm disgusted."
"Small theater with a very intimate feel. Seating is in a stadium style setup, allowing you to see above and around people better than you can in traditional Broadway theatres. Every seat provided a great view. Best part is you wait inside away from the elements instead of outside against the building."
"The Duke on 42nd Street Theater is a lovely place. It’s not big but it’s beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed. We saw “Emojiland The Musical”, directed by Thomas Caruso. Truly loved to see Lucas Steele, Felicia Boswell and Natalie Weiss, and more performing. It was awesome, really enjoyed every second."
"Staff are wonderful. Theater seating was a little tight. But it was a nice theater. The play was beautifully performed and written. The outfits was excellent and well as the actors and actresses. A must see show. It hit almost all emotions. I would definitely go back to this theater."
"Good pitch stadium seating and comfortable seats. Small theater. Nice little snack bar with juice in addition to beer and wine. Friendly and welcoming house staff. I went to see Maestro, which is a separate review."
