Reviews
"Great selection and very friendly staff who are happy to recommend a wine based on menu."
"Good enough selection of Sancerre wines in a relatively small store with friendly and knowledgeable employees. Every time I have visited I have been helped by Ray, a gentleman with a great knowledge and culture about the world of wine. Highly recommended."
"I went there to check some wines out. Being fairly knowledgeable about wines i wasn't sure if store employees will know about it. I was helped by Ray or Rainel as is his real name, a taller larger gentleman who was a bundle of joy. He even explained a few other brands i haven't consider. I ended up purchasing one wine that he recommended and one that i wanted. Store is very well stocked, clean and i will be back."
"The second time when I wanted to buy the Grüner Veltliner there has turned out to be the last time ever. First, only because I spelled this German name with a German accent, I was asked to show my ID what I politely did. Subsequently, I was charged for an extra bag that was never given to me. The cashier simply blatantly stared at me while I was packing the wine in my cotton tote being unaware of the fact of being charged for a bag that had never been offered to me in the first place. I realized being overcharged only upon leaving the store! Hence, I came back to the store to complain about the situation. The same cashier acted as nothing happened and agreed to the fact that I should always control any receipt before leaving any store in NYC."
"I had an interesting experience at this well stocked wine shop. The staff is quite knowledgeable to the point of being condescending. It's never pleasant when the help is haughtier than the clientele..."
