"The old Indian man is extremely rude and too chatty and not in a friendly way. They are a bit over priced and seem like they add an extra $2.00 to there items before taxes. I'm not from Hackensack , I'm from New York and the idea that they charge you for bags to carry your purchase does not sit well with me."

"This place was terrible. The old Indian guy is very rude and told me $11.70 with tax the initial time I went there. I said I'll be back soon. When I went back he said $11.99. I'm like how did it go from $11.70 to $11.99 in 15 minutes? He said because I use a card. Like what? It's illegal to charge people for using their debit card or prepaid card in NJ it's not illegal to charge a surcharge for using a credit card but it must be posted by the register and a surcharge must shown on the receipt. Other than that then it is a business expense that if you don't want to pay then be cash only. I swear I've seen this only in Indian owned places. I'm reporting them."

"I been going here for 16 years and I never had a bad experience till now. The worker gave me attitude snatch my card out my phone asked for my ID. Like I was a doing a scam. I never got treated this at any establishment I own 3 Verizon stores and I will not or my family and friends will no longer do business there! Just go to the liquor store on Essex street it’s. A little more friendly and better customer service"

"DO NOT GO THERE, EVER. I had been going to this place for 5 years and it used to be convenient and quite nicely staffed, along with a nice variety of merchandise; however, last year a new crew took over and it has been the end of it. I purchased a bottle of Piper Heidsieck Champagne and when I went back to return it because it was disgustingly sour and flat, they wouldn’t take it back, even though I had my receipt with me. How pathetic and cheap they are. I decided not to fight over a $30 bottle but they have lost my business forever. I honestly hope they shut down pretty soon."
