"Always has a good selection. Staff is super helpful."
"literally just got racially profiled. I went in with my friend who is lighter skinned than me and they didn’t ask for her id but the man behind the counter started demanding my passport and ID. i showed him both and he barely believed me. I walked out because i couldn’t support a business that treated me that way. I also have a vertice NY state ID issued three years ago when I was under 21 why would that be fake? if their concerns about fakes are so bad they should get an ID scanner and not yell at potential customers"
"What a scam! Came in and was over charged! And once we immediately asked to return the items they said it was impossible. Crazy to believe in 2023. Avoid at all costs."
"WAYYY OVERPRICED!!! They charged me $65 for 1L bottle Cointreau. I thought it seemed high. Left the store, immediately called liquor store on Bway and 72nd and they charge $44. Called another on 86th and same $44 price. Went back in (within 5 min) and they said no returns!!!! The paper receipt actually does say “no returns”. Wonder why they have that on their receipt???!!!"
"Walked in last night around 10:45pm to pick up a bottle of wine. The lady didn’t open her mouth to speak. Not 2 minutes later a group of white people came in and received the biggest greeting I’ve ever heard. They checked out and had what sounded like the most pleasant experience. I wish I could say the same, because when I went to check out, all I got out of the lady was the total and a question asking if I wanted a bag. The ONLY reason I made a purchase was because they were the only store open at that time. But the disrespect was very felt and noted. I’ll never walk in there again."
