Reviews of Radio City Apartments
"This is by far the best accommodation I have found in New York City. The staff are amazingly friendly. The room is clean, spacious and modern. The service is very generous and you are able to use the washing machine. The location can’t be beat. I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen."
"The location is fantastic for easy reach for Central Park and Times New Square. It was key for us to be close to Central park as my family was watching me finish the marathon. The room was small, but fine for the 2 of us. The bath and shower, adequate and everywhere, seemed clean. The kitchenette worked well as we could keep some of our own food, rather than eating out several times a day. The only downsides were the oven didn't work and it was a noisy room. There isn't any noise cancellation, so bring ear plugs. Lots of people's honking car horns and those annoying bikes with loud music! I'd stay here with a large family and its decent value for money. It's not a luxury place to stay but you'd have to pay quite a bit more for that."
"I stayed for 6 nights and even though the place is old and could use a remodel it seemed to fit my needs and seemed clean enough. The afternoon and evening shift on the front desk were all very friendly, the day shift not so friendly or helpful. Everything was fine until I saw a rat in my room on my last night. They did not offer to change my room, but they did send someone up with traps that they had readily available to look for the rat (which was in hiding and never found). It ruined my whole stay. The guy at the front desk on the morning I checked out would not connect me with management, acted like I was overreacting and that I should be grateful for a 20% discount. If you don't mind rats this is the place for you."
"I recently stayed at Radio City New York, and there were some mixed aspects to my experience. Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic, making it convenient to explore the city. However, the rooms themselves could use an upgrade to meet modern standards. On the bright side, the kitchen facilities were a significant plus for those who prefer to prepare their meals. One point of concern was the front desk staff's friendliness, particularly during early check-ins after long overnight flights. It would greatly improve the guest experience if they were more accommodating in such situations. I would also suggest that the management consider establishing an arrival lounge at a small cost, which could be a valuable addition for guests arriving early from exhausting journeys. In summary, while there is room for improvement in terms of room quality and front desk service, my three-night stay at Radio City New York was overall positive. I strongly recommend that the management focus on training the front desk staff, especially for morning shifts, to enhance the guest experience, particularly for those who have endured long hours of travel."
"The hotel was very nice! The staff were great and very helpful. I had the Wheelchair Accessible room; it was really nice and spacious. It had one of the biggest, nicest, roll-in showers that I've ever seen in a hotel. I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom was sloped so all of the water from the shower totally missed the drains and we ended-up using most of our towels to keep all of the water in the bathroom and not out into the main carpeted area of the rest of the rest of our room. All-in-all, I would most definitely stay in the TRYP by Wyndham in Atlantic City again NJ again!"
