"Seemed very sketchy. Tried to buy a small bottle of rum and they quoted a price but wouldn't let me see the machine to see what was going to be charged on the card. It's strange because my card was declined (there was absolutely no reason for it to be declined) and it was the only location my whole stay that was declined. Ended up going to a spot a couple of blocks away that was a better experience. Had a weird negative gut feeling the whole time in the store."

"this place is very overpriced with their products. In addition you have to be careful with the price that you get charged at the register because it is different than the price that is marked on the bottle and always in favor of the store. Update - i happened to look at the receipt tonight and they charged me $2121.76 for an overpriced $19.99 bottle of wine!!! I called the credit card company and immediately filed a claim. Beware of this place!!!! I should have paid attention to previous reviews. Update 2 - The owner refunded my the overcharge to my card on 11/19 after the error was made on 11/16. They do have a new Point of Sale system so they may be working out the kinks."

"After having a beautiful dinner for my birthday celebration , my friends and I decided to go and get a bottle . It was 9 of us. We walked into the establishment trying to decide which one we wanted to get , it was about 10:30pm. One of my friends placed her purse on the counter. About 5 minutes later the older gentleman starts yelling, demanding we take the purse off the counter, telling us to hurry up because we’re in the way (they close at 11 we were the only people in there). As a group of young black adults , I’m not sure if he felt uncomfortable, but that is not a way to speak to the customers that keep your establishment in business. Without the customers there is no business . Being black is funny because people think they could talk to you however they want not even knowing who you are & what your capable of doing .. lol . I’ll just leave that there though . The key to a successful business is hospitality, you treat customers with respect so that they want to come back and bring more people to the establishment . Horrible service ."
