"I am so very grateful for Encompass Health and ALL of the staff. My father had an amazing and very productive experience. The facility was clean and the private rooms are a PLUS PLUS!!!! The therapy was thorough and consistent… they definitely worked him but it was needed and they took care and concern with all sessions. He was treated with respect, dignity and kindness. When he arrived the entire team was just amazing… from staff at the front desk to the nurses, doctors, therapists, management, social worker, cafeteria staff and techs. I (as an RN myself) was very pleased with the care, love and support my father was given, especially being a new resident of Delaware. He is thriving and doing so well after his stay!!! We appreciate you all so much. Thank You for being awesome!"

"If you need to be in a rehab facility then look no further than Encompass!! My stay there was less painful because of the care I received! The nurses are outstanding, I can’t say enough good things about the therapist. You have 3-1 hour sessions of therapy and I think I did so well because of them. The food for a hospital type setting was actually delicious compared to the hospital food. The management team was the best around. They stopped in your room to see if everything was going well and believe me they meant it when asking if it was all good. You saw a doctor everyday and that was reassuring. I was given a 2 protein drinks every day to help my wounds heal and they took care of my bed sore I got in the hospital. I also had my own room which I loved because I could have it dark in the room or watch tv anytime. I hope I didn’t leave anything or anyone out because everyone was spectacular especially my nurse Katie!! So if you are in need I hope you go with Encompass because they will not disappoint you!!"

"I was so nervous after my surgery to hear I was going to a rehab facility. Since my first day the staff was absolutely amazing!! Everyone is so friendly, even the upper level managers. They have all come in and personally introduced themselves, including the individual who is the highest in the facility. The food is great too. The second day I was here they were so short staffed and needed help desperately, and then managers and other staff came in and performed jobs like techs and RN’s! I personally saw one of the department heads working as a tech. It was so humbling to see that r would come in and fill in for staff and do a job that was way below what they normally do, AND do it on a day off, that just leaves me speechless and awestruck at the same time. Also the cleanliness of the facility is absolutely top notch. Someone comes in every morning (around mid morning) to clean the entire room and bathroom. They really know what they’re doing here if anything needs to be done and the original person can’t there is always someone right there to jump in and help without being asked it’s really amazing. It’s exactly how a work environment should be but not ever really is anywhere else I’ve been. They have a great facility, great staff, great food, and really care about their patients and employees. So if you want a place where you have your own private room, good food and an amazing experience/stay, well then pick encompass as your rehab facility. ♥️♥️"

"As a Rehab Facility, the staff, therapists and nurses couldn't be better. My issue is with the Medical Review Board. My husband was there after a stroke due to Afib. He went there and was doing well and came home for less than 48hrs as they hadn't fixed his heart and couldn't at the time due to the stroke. He returned to the hospital and they performed the procedure. However he lost some of his progress and it was recommended he have more therapy. When applying here the Medical Director rejected him for clinical reasons which was never explained to me. So this place is a one time event. No Compassion by the Medical Review Board."
