Reviews of Monmouth Medical Center : Psychiatric Hot Line
"The care my daughter received from the nursing staff and support services went well and seemed to be very beneficial, but she was failed by the social worker (s) assigned to her. Wasn't present upon discharge, did not set up any additional support services for my daughter, we were simply told to follow up with her previous provider, which I had explained was not something we wanted to do if there were services closer to our locale, and we wanted and needed something more intensive than the in school therapy sessions she had previously. I made several attempts to communicate with the social workers at the behavioral health center, and was ignored, as no one ever followed up with me. Very disappointing. Now, since she was not referred to any other centers/organizations/providers, I have been struggling to find her follow up and continuing support services, and she may not be eligible for GenPsych because the social worker(s) did not refer her directly for additional treatment. I don't understand why we were left with little to go on, and such a nonchalant directive, my daughter is struggling and does not want to end up back in in patient treatment."
"I was hear from May-June 2018 it was amazing the brownies I would 100% recommended the only reason its not 5 stars is cuz my roommate tried to kill me. Deffinetly recommend"
"I am at a serious breaking point so i decided to give the Monmouth Medical Psychiatric part of the hospital a call. I wanted to know if they were accepting people, what precautions i would need to take and wanted to talk to someone about how i was feeling before i put myself at risk of the virus but before i could even finish what i was saying, the woman who's name i unfortunately don't remember interrupted me, which would have been fine but she was so unbelievably rude and seemed like she had no interest in what i had to say as well as what i needed answers to. I called at 12:08pm so I'm sure the staff knows who she is but i am seriously not ok and feel like ending everything and to be brushed off by someone who is actually suppose to help you made me feel like i have no where to turn and now i feel completely hopeless. I've been there a few times and the majority of the staff is unbelievable but there are a few who don't care and it shows. Just like it did today. I'm not ok and I'm not going to be ok. All i wanted was help."
"Once you get upstairs to the kid ward it is great people will make your life better than you can get somewhere else it is great I wish I could go back"
"11 hour wait in crisis center to get a bed. Doctor Farber so busy can’t get assessment. Unless your acute pain from drugs or alcohol, this is not the place to get better for mental health"
