"Doctor called me once. When I returned the call the hospital advise they could not confirm there was a doctor by the name I gave for the return call on my voicemail machine. I called nurse and hospital staff advised the patient decline to speak anyone. I left messages to have social work and attending Doctor to call me back. The nurse staff said they will take the message and pass it along. There was not Doctor available nurse and supervision staff are rude. This hospital is corrupt. They block families from visiting patients they are treating and hide behind Hippa laws. I made an appointment to visit when I arrived the hospital staff told me. Gave me three different answers. They said, “ the patient is was sleeping, the patient took medication already and doesn’t wish to speak with anybody. I called to reschedule and appointment, no answer. I called multiple times to multiple departments. I cannot visit. I cannot speak to the patient You would think the social work and doctors treating the admitted patients be interested as to why the patient was admitted in the first place. No call back received yet from treating doctor or social worker just to receive information. All staff adving it’s a Hippa violation to even receive information. Bottom line The hospital and staff do not care about why their patients are having trauma. They don’t want information given to them because they make up their own diagnoses, and bill insurance carriers, the overly medicate their patients to elongate stays for all their patients stays. keep family from visiting the patients. This to me seems like insurance billing fraud. They even have workers on the inside violating Hippa by giving our information to families they should not be privy to. If your family is experiencing crisis for mental health Take the patient to another hospital outside Philadelphia. This place is no place to send an ANYONE. Who knows how long this patient will remain with this hospitalization, they have student doctors learning and experimenting on patient medical regimen. They are not concern about the release or care for their patients admitted. It’s all about the money."
"If I could give zero stars I would. The security guards at the entrance of the emergency room are very racist. Twice I have been to this hospital with my husband due to health issues for myself. And both times the security guards say that my husband couldn't be in the waiting room with me. On my second trip to the er I go in and they tell my husband he can't be in the waiting room with me that he would have to wait in the car til I was in a room. Yet when I am in the waiting room I see two different people in the waiting room both with their partners but yet my husband couldn't be in the waiting room with me. Mine you I ended up leaving an going to urgent care because I wasn't about to wait 4-5 hours to be seen which is ridiculous. But two people I had seen were allowed in with their partners but my husband had to wait in the car. That is ridiculous."
"The security there is mad with power. I am surprised no one said the infamous"catch me outside". They lie saying the have other stuff to do, then curse at patients for sevices they don't wanna do. The the time I am like dude call management as to leave or be a better man.. ive whiteness places on a down turn spirals because of a set of staff members. I was there for an emergency, life threatening but all this guy could talk about is how long I was taking. And how he or members he could call could "help me". I will and must protect my self to the fullest extent of the law. This is REAL life people die because people are to rough or just wanted to hurt them in the first place. This hospital security team has probably found themselves in a suit or WILL. Trust me . DONT GO TO SEEK DRUG AND ALCOHOL HELP. Go anywhere else. You'll thank me , I promise you that much. I walked home in -9 below weather. But woke up happier than I had been in a year. Record these people with for cell phone I promise they won't disappoint. I write management later about there policies. But these people r slick as hair grease"
"I had an appointment scheduled for today that i waited 2 months for, traveled 2 hours away for it and was informed it had been canceled only when i called them to double check on the appointment time. someone working said they had “tried to get in contact with me through the phone” but i never received any call or email from them and now the appointment is rescheduled 2 months away again. very disappointed"
