"Not recommended, especially for prescription. The working hours are wrong. It’s the second time I need to pick up a prescription and they are closed even though they are supposed to be open. Another time I had to pick up a prescription and they were out of it. I’ve tried to speak with the manager and raise a concern about the working hours but they were rude and didn’t care. If you need a pharmacy in the area CVC is a better choice."

"I would not recommend sending your prescriptions here. The hours are incorrect. The pharmacy staff decides to open an hour late and close two hours early and is unwilling to make an effort to change the hours on the website or on Google. Wasting patients’ time trying to pick up prescriptions. Not only that, but this location’s “systems are down” quite frequently. The entire store often doesn’t open in the morning on time because the “systems are down”. Sounds to me like a lazy manager sleeping in and leaving early. Do not trust this place, you expect a corporation to have standards but you will not find them here."

"I don’t know why this Duane Reade has only one other review and it’s one star, because it’s my favorite one in midtown. The pharmacists are kind, helpful and will remember you after a couple visits. The pharmacy is open till 8–an hour later than the others nearby. They’ve never seemed annoyed when I arrived at 7:59 either. All of the other staff I’ve encountered at the registers have been delightful."

"I waited over 2 hours for my prescription. The pills weren’t in stock so they sent the technician to another store to get them. They did not ask us what we wanted to do (options) we waited way too long for 3 pills. Then the tech came back with Starbucks. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous."
