"I called the pharmacy and asked the gentleman if he had my medication and he lied to me that he didn't carry my brand of medication and I know for a fact that he does carry then because my cousin had picked up the same medication earlier In the day..hameful"

"Pharmacies like this in Chinatown do not have a sense of community. My elderly family members have been taken advantage of with the insane price gouging of their products and medicine. Regular customers of this pharmacies include those with pharmacy benefits and have $100 + to spend. The people with these benefits include those elderly individuals who absolutely need these benefits. However, every item on the shelves are at least 50% increased in price. I'm sure there is some fraud here too. It's a business model built around writing off grocery expenses as medicine. Which is why you usually can't use the benefits to redeem goods unless you have gotten prescriptions from the store. These stores have become such a convenient place for the elderly to pick-up medicine that they don't mind charging $20 of their benefits on regular shampoo... So you thought the pharma industry is corrupt? Take a good hard look at all the chinese pharmacies like this in chinatown and you'll find them playing a similar role. I was not going to write a review about this store until my mom recently witnessed the worst experience yet - she was going to go home with $40 left in my dad's benefit card, but they didnt let her go without writing it off as store credit... They just couldn't stand the possibility of my mom going elsewhere to use the monthly benefits. On top of that, they are also very rude. My grandparents are old and senile. The type of verbal abuse I hear coming out of them daily is absurd. Especially in times like these with the pandemic. We need a sense of community - not parasitic businesses out to milk us of our limited benefits to our elderly."
