Reviews
"This place has such bad reviews for management and policies. I don't understand why they haven't made changes. No wonder the shows are half empty. The first thing is they FORCE you to sit at a table with people you don't know--when there is plenty of empty space. This is really unacceptable. When you go out and spend money to see a show, and a two item minimum, you should get to enjoy the company of the people you arrived with and not strangers. It creates a really uncomfortable experience. Also, management was beyond rude. I see this posted in so many other reviews so it seems pretty consistent across the board. There was eye-rolling when we asked for some water and things of that nature. The server was very pleasant, but they are definitely understaffed and overwhelmed. Just do better."
"$8.00 for literally a hand full of fries, frozen chicken with buffalo sauce ava a 2 drink minimum. Great comedy and the wait staff incredibly attentive (thanks Sean). Not the cost of Costco chicken ava fries is just too much for not a lot."
"The staff at the door wasn’t super pleasant, but we were seated in a good amount of time and was only on line for about 5 minutes. The seating is terrible. It is extremely too packed. I couldn’t even breathe without feeling like someone was up under me. I feel like they really need to fix the seating chart because I was way too close to people and my husband couldn’t even get up without bumping into someone to get to the restroom. I had to have my neck crooked completely to watch and see the comedian and half the time couldn’t even see him properly. Additionally, it was a bit warm in there, even the opening act mentioned that he was hot and sweating. They had to give him a towel. We came to see Bill Bellamy and he was amazing! The stars go to him and I really wish I could separate the rating and give him five stars and give the venue 2 to 3. On top of the fact that the spacing and seating for the crowd was atrocious, the food was horrible. I didn’t think anyone would be able to mess up a sample platter of nachos or chips and spinach artichoke dip, but I thought wrong. The chips were completely burnt up. We did not enjoy them whatsoever. Did they leave them in the air fryer too long or something? We also decided to give the Nashville hot chicken sandwich a try and the chicken was so tough and it was not hot at all in terms of temperature and actual spice. The only good thing from that platter was the fries. Lastly, the mocktails. These we’re basically syrup and water. I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri and it was ridiculous. It was legit syrup and water, not frozen or tasty at all. Then my husband got a virgin mojito and it was the same foolishness. The fact that you have to get a two item minimum from the menu is crazy, especially after spending money on the tickets. What if we don’t want any of this nasty food? I probably will eat somewhere else next time before seeing any performers that way, I won’t have to eat any of this disgusting food again."
"I've been going to Levity for many years and have never had an issue. The food could be better but we just eat before and get an appetizer while we're there. The seating can be awkward but honestly, just get there early or pay for a booth. The staff was great and the show was awesome."
"We saw Janelle James tonight, she was fantastic! I can't remember the name of the opening act but she was great too! Venue: small, intimate clean. Staff was very nice, servers worked well together and quickly. (One issue see below) Drinks were good, food was good. Our table neighbor said the fried pickles were spongy (eww). We enjoyed our food. Only issue with service was we got no silverware, napkins or plates. We did eventually get napkins and plates but no fork. It's gross to eat buffalo cauliflower with your hands, especially while looking at a comedian. Even Janelle James said she's famous and couldn't get them to put th AC on. It was BRUTALLY hot and extremely humid."
