"My family LOVED our time with Primrose School at Mountainside. The teachers and staff were instrumental in helping us to help our daughter become the confident and delightful little girls she is today. We had such a good experience with the school and the Primrose brand that the timing of our move out of state was literally determined by when we were able to get a place at the school in our new town! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Primrose School at Mountainside or any other Primrose school to anyone."
"We have had a wonderful experience at Primrose with both of our daughters! Our oldest was very well prepared for first grade after graduating from their kindergarten program."
"We have had two students in Primrose since 2020 and have found the school to be very supportive of our children through some very challenging and unprecedented times. While COVID presented circumstances that no one could possibly plan for, I thought the school did an excellent job of communicating with parents and providing transparency to policies and procedures as they evolved with the health department. From an academic perspective, I think the Primrose curriculum sets the students up for success as they progress from year to year. Our oldest graduated last year and is now performing head and shoulders above classmates in the new first grade setting. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the unfortunate retention challenges with the teaching staff. This is not unique to Primrose. I've seen it in many early childhood education settings - especially in the current economic environment. It's tough to keep good staff. That said, Primrose has never lacked coverage for a classroom and continues to provide a consistent level of education for every student. My children have loved their Primrose experience (they love their teachers, the lunches, and the friends they have made) and as parents, we have been very pleased with the care and education as well."
"Would not recommend the school! I removed my child after a few months. The Director Pamela is never available to speak and when she does make herself available, she gives off an air of attitude. My child was not learning from the teachers and I had to enroll them in private lessons because they were behind when enrolled in 1st grade. This school is not worth the price!! readers beware"
"My son is in the toddler class and he loves it there. All of his teachers are great and we have seen an expansion of vocabulary! We also love the app where we get a daily report about him and daily pictures. The staff has always been prompt to address any concerns. We are so happy! Most importantly he is always happy to go to daycare and is always in a great mood when I pick him up. Seeing how happy he is affirms that he is treated well there and that the teachers genuinely care about him."
