Above and Beyond

"I started sending my daughter here in August of last year. She was 2 and a half when she started. She loves it there and I am very happy with the place. All the teachers and staff are very nice and treat the children well. I can tell my daughter learns a lot when she is there. The prices (just under $1,000 per month) might seem high but from what I saw that is more or less the going rate in this area. Most of the people who send their kids there seem to be Jewish and the place is in a synagogue but it is by no means for Jewish kids only or anything, the only real difference between this and any other day care is that they don't let you send your kid with most kinds of meat for lunch (no ham sandwiches). But of course that's not a big deal. All in all, I feel very comfortable with my daughter being there all day and she is happy to go there every day. The teachers really are all great and the woman who runs the place, Sharon, is very nice too. If you live in Highland Park or the surrounding area I would definitely recommend it."

"The staff at Above and Beyond constantly strive to live up to the center's name - with great success. When babies see their carers here, they light up with smiles! It is a very clean, secure, comforting environment and they are so flexible with helping every child be as happy as possible. Our son runs out the front door when we tell him it's time to go to daycare!"

"The biggest strength of Above and Beyond is the incredible teachers! They tell me such great details about my son's new favorite songs and playmates & developing personality. Not only as a new parent do I feel safe and comfortable with the center, my son REALLY loves going there! Last month he was out for a few days and when he returned to the familiar hallway, he started flapping his arms in excitement (at 13 months old)! The teachers have really gotten to know my growing baby in the last year and he has learned so much in this environment."
