Royal Court Motel 4301 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260

"Stayed here 7/22/23-7/24/23! The room was horrible, when I advised the front desk he said he would have someone clean it. All they did was change the stained sheets. The curtains were hanging off the rod some of the loops were zipped tied up. I had to use a hair clip to close it so no one could look in the room. The shower floor was disgusting we wore flip flops to shower. There were weird random stains on the walls. The wall lamp was cracked I was scared we would get zapped. We had 1 surge protector with everything in the room plugged into it. (Tv, fridge, microwave, coffee maker) no other outlets worked in the room either. When I called Orbitz to change me to somewhere else, the room was non-refundable so we had to hold it out. We went for a wedding and spent $500 for the 2 nights. So we just got dressed there and attended the wedding! After we checked out the motel had the audacity to charge a $100 additional fee. The parking situation is a nightmare. You are advised to leave your car keys in your room so if they need to move your car someone from staff just walks in at anytime to get the keys to move it. No privacy! The ONLY thing good about this place is that it’s a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk. Other then that it’s horrible!! Oh and the staff don’t care! Trying to see how I can post the pictures for proof!"

"Terrible customer service. When you book a room, they give you an option on what time you want to check in. They give you as early as 8am but no one is in the office until late afternoon and they don’t tell you this when booking. The parking situation is terrible. You have to leave your car keys up front and hope you can find someone who works there to move it when need be. When we called to canceled because we were under the impression we would’ve been able to check in when we specifically were asked to, the man at the front had “no idea what I was talking about.” I’m sure we’re not the only people this has happened to as well. Based off customer service and overall parking, there’s plenty of other places to go. Don’t waste your money!"

"The Staff is only there between 3-7 and they ether allow radio playing and swimming all night or there is no one there to tell them to stop. The 2 pools are clean but old looking. The buildings rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The faucet handles were broken the floors are dirty, dusty and sandy! Gross to walk on in socks or barefoot. sheets were clean and bed was good. AC is a normal window unit. Very loud but worked well and it was hot out! Lots of damaged things throughout the room. Toilet wobbled, shower had hair in it and looked frightening. The large front window’s shade was falling off. The room was cheap and close to the convention center which also is close to the boardwalk and saves you parking money if you had to drive there from a further motel. The people that say there are the kinds of people that don’t notice anything is wrong with the motel."

"The only good thing about this motel is its location. The room was in need of updating and less than spotlessly clean (bedspread and towels were visibly stained/dirty), the curtain (and only means of privacy) was in need of repair, the bathroom window was broken, and the other guests were loud until VERY late with no hotel staff to keep the partying in check. The office was closed at checkout requiring me to track down two different maintenance/housekeeping employees to get my car unblocked so I could leave for home. The piggyback parking was expected, the nearly 45 minutes spent trying to get somebody to assist in getting my car unblocked was not. I should have heeded the unfavorable reviews and avoided this motel."

"Stayed here for a night and was very happy with my experience. Starting with the front desk and staff there was very friendly and easy to talk to. Got to the room and was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Only downside was the outdated decor, but that makes sense for the price of the motel. Overall, the location was extremely convenient to the board walk/beach and we had a great stay! Would love to come back!"
